First off, this review if for the piercing aspect of the shop. I've never been tattooed so I can only speak about the piercer and my experience with him. I have had countless peircings over the years, so I really just went in for a repierce. I've been pierced by many different people at many different shops so I feel like i'm giving a reliable review. First, I will start with my piercing experience itself, then I will talk about my experience with the employees, then I will end with price. 1.) So I must say, this is the most painful piercing i've ever gotten. I have had my right nostril pierced before, and the first time it just felt like a pinch and didn't hurt at all. The needle hurt quite a bit but the jewelry hurt way more (it was a hoop) at BDC. My experience with nostril experiences, they should not hurt that much. Then again, i've never been given the option to get a hoop in instead of a stud. All other shops I been too require your starter jewelry be a stud because they give your nose room for swelling to help you heal better. This I liked about BDC, I don't have a problem with it but I know other piercers would. I suggest that if you think your nose would swell, pay the extra $20 and get a stud to avoid scarring. If you're like me and more experienced with getting pierced and know you won't swell, then I think its okay for you to get a hoop. Also- I don't think that my nostril was cleaned enough prior to the piercing. He did a quick two swipe with an alcohol pad and all the other shops usually swipe around my nostril many times (at least 20 seconds, this guy did 2 seconds) to ensure sanitization and to avoid infection,so I do wish he had spent a little more time cleaning the area to be pierced. 2.)I filled out the paperwork and gave them my ID and was seen within a minute. The piercer himself was very nice and seemed very happy that I am experienced in getting pierced because it made things run super smoothly. I was in and out of the shops in less than 6 minutes total. I was only with the piercer for 2 minutes and he seemed to really enjoy me being there just because I gave him no trouble. I do suggest that if you do not like his placement, please do tell him. As long as your both on the same page on placement, things will be fine. 3.) The cost of my nostril with the hoops was $45. It would've been $65 for a stud. (Idk why but I like hoops much better so...). I'm very happy with the price, where I come from in south Dakota it would be $80 to get the same thing done so its nice that its this affordable here. Overall, great pricing and clean environment. I do not reccommend to those who are nervous and are getting pierced for their first time to go here. If you are super anxious about the pain, I do not think that this will be the best place to go for your first experience. Remember to stay hydrated and if you feel like you might get nauseous coming here, make sure you come on an empty stomach. Read Less

I am glad that I got my nipples pierced before I read the reviews. I got my nipples pierced about 3 weeks ago by Jeremiah. He was very nice. He explained want he was going to do before he started. Also before he started the piercing process he told me that if I started feeling sick or light headed to let him know. Just before he pushed the needle through through he told me to take a deep breath. I was surprised that it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. Before he pierced the second one he made sure I was feeling ok. I told him that I had read that you should have the piercer change the jewelry the first time and he said that they would do it Free of charge. I was in there no longer than 15-20 minutes. About two weeks after having my nipples pierced I had to have a longer bar put in one of my nipples. He said that the other one could be put back in in two weeks. I asked him if I would do it like the way he changed it. He said yes or I could come back and they would change it. I am very happy with my piercing. I would recommend them. Read Less

Don't get pierced here! I went to get two piercings (the top and the bottom one). I asked the guy to mark my ear so I could make sure I liked the placement and he made a huge deal about it. He was very rude the whole time. He finally marked them and I approved and he went to pierce them. He didn't pierce them where he marked. They were all supposed to be evenly spaced but, as you can see by the photo, they aren't even close to that. He also shoved the needle through very slowly which caused my whole ear to bruise. I ended up having to take them out and now have to wait 3 months to go pay to get them re pierced somewhere else.Read Less

We can't speak for the service because it was refused. We attempted to have five piercings done on three people as a birthday present and we were literally told to go somewhere else. Because my daughters are under the age of 16 they are apparently not allowed in the store for any reason, ever. Really? Not even to spend money with their parents?! They get a 2 star review from me because I have to assume anyone turning away $ on the door step is doing extremely well with the customers they do let in. Read Less

I love BDC. I've gotten two tattoos done there by different artists and they both look amazing. I've also had my nose pierced and a surface anchor put in from BDC and they both healed quickly and still look great. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for any artist or piercer. Read Less

Absolutely horrible. I would NOT recommend going to them for piercings. I had my tragis done and after six weeks it was still bleeding and pussing. It hurt to the touch and it was actually beginning to fall out of my ear. I went to a professional piercing place and was informed that #1 I had been given the wrong jewelry. #2 the jewelry was too big for my ear. #3 they had given me an ointment that says right on the package that it was not to be used for puncture wounds, which is exactly what a cartilage piercing is. and #4 they had missed my cartilage completely. And when I called to ask for a refund they were so unbelievably rude. Her tone of voice was rude, she told me that there was no way my ear had been bleeding after 6 weeks and refused to refund my money.
