This place is awesomesauce. Very clean. The artists are fabulous. Lara went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable. My tattoo is very large so it was done over a period of three sessions to insure my comfort. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I am so sadden and displeased with my experience with Monarch Tattoo located in Emporia, KS! I met the couple/owners while waiting on them where they expressed they were local tattoo artists and when it came time for my next tattoo I knew for sure where I was going Monarch Tattoo! Got a small cross tattoo on my finger that you can barely see... some of
the ink didn't even take in my skin! When it came time to getting my free touched up the owner continued to give me the run around not willing to give me a date or time for my touch up appointment! When I contacted the owner he rudely hung up in my face! I will never do business with this tattoo company and I highly encourage other customers to beware of doing business with this business! I felt very taken advantage of and my money went to a waste!!!

I heard a lot of great things about Monarch. Went in to get my first tattoo drawn up. Gave him $20 and he told me it would be around a week. Well that didn't happen. 2 months went by and I would call every week to check, he would tell me mine was next, obviously bullshit. Then he stopped returning my calls. Basically just robbed of $20.
