Just had the greatest time in victory tattoo. Walked in the shop told me that I could get my son tattooed if I got a notary of public.so went to the police station got it came back and we got the tattoo. Very cool shop and customer service if it was not being from Texas I would be coming back. Side note went to two other tattoo shops they did not what to tattoo. Pierced my nipples completely wrong and didn’t own up to HER mistake. Got offended and said she wouldn’t fix them or refund me. It’s called a NIPPLE piercing not and aerola piercing they were bruised and uneven. The bars also got imbedded because she didn’t use the right jewelry. Do NOT get them pierced here. Read Less

Brought in my own art. Duncan handled it with respect and tweaked as to make it read the best it possibly could going from paper to skin. The color is outstanding and the placement is on point. The tattoo is amazing. He was also very cool to hang with during the 3hr session. There is no doubt I have my guy and highly recommend anyone to check him out. I had a messed up tattoo and I went in and Juan fixed my tattoo and has given me many more since then. He and Duncan are by far the best tattoo artist around. The guy that I used to have do my tattoos moved out of state so I put off doing any tattoos and until I found Juan at Victory.. he takes different stuff I put together and wraps it with his own spin and it always comes out a beautiful work of art! He has since done several tattoos for me and is the only one I trust to get the best quality tattoo! After all they are forever so you might as well have the best working on your canvas! They told me (they don't make appointments on Saturdays walk in only ) so I called them to see if they had a lot of people there. They said no. This was about 1:00 o'clock. So I left work and went there. When I got there was no one there. I go in to see if I could get something done. They tell me that they were booked. They didn't have time. So much for not making appointments. Then he (don't no the guy's name) but he said well they put money down. That's why they got a appointment. If they would have told me that I have put money down. I never had a tattoo before so I was seriously wigging out. The guy at the counter (sorry I didn't get a name) was very professional and didn't roll his eyes like I would have done. Haha My daughter and I were seen by Duncan. With my youngest daughter's art work, he created the best tattoo and experience I could have ever wanted. After finding out where Duncan had gone to do Ink from another shop, i went in to set up a time to get a tattoo done. I also advised them that i traveled for work. After giving the money down and setting up the time i did have to reschedule for WORK . Ive been told he is scheduling a month out. So I'm sure they have a waiting list. I called them and let them know i would have to change it to a later date and told the guy on the phone i could cone pay for the entire tattoo before i had to leave town. He told me no, there was no need to do that and that he would talk to Duncan. I called the shop back the next day to only be told that they were keeping my deposit. (After telling them i would pay all the tattoo). Im not looking for anything here besides letting people know how they treat people. There are many other good artist in the city.Read Less

Duncan was amazing. Great service, and great atmosphere. I have always had bad luck with Wichita shops, and I won't test my luck again. Id just like to say that I have been going to the same artist who co owns Victory Tattoo in Derby Ks. He does amazing work and is passionate about his art. He will not do a tattoo that is poorly drawn because it will reflect badly on his art. These guys work years perfecting their craft. When you see an artist, you show them what your wanting but you need to let them rework it so that it becomes a true piece of art that you can be proud to show to your friends. They do this for a living. They know what works and what doesnt work. I can tell you I have spent right at 8500 to date in the past 5 years getting art from this particular artist and he is professional and honest. You want honesty from your artist. If they are willing to take your money and give you a horrible tattoo just because YOU think its good they are not a good artist. A good artist will be honest with you even if it means losing a customer. Once that tattoo is there its there for life. Be thankful he said no. He did you a favor. Read Less

I went in with a drawing that I wanted tattooed that was very sentimental to me. The tattoo artist proceeded to insult the drawing and say that he would not put that on me b/c he would lose business. The drawing is beautiful to me and is not a stinkin' stick figure! I guess at this joint, ""the customer is always right"" doesn't apply.
