Got my daith pierced. I had to go to my original piercer because a captive was put in my ear, she could nearly get a 14 gauge in the piercing hole. My ear was so infected and swollen with pus even when I cleaned it 3 times a day. I now have to have a seamless nose ring in my daith piercing because a 14 or 16 gauge will fit in my ear. A week ago today I went in to get a tattoo on my side. Brad did an amazing job and I am in love with how it turned out. He put tegaderm over the tat for the healing process. Went in to buy some plugs for my ears, there was a line to the counter which didn't bother me at first because I was willing to wait. The person infront of me had to fill out paperwork for a piercing while she was filling out the paperwork they had plenty of time to get the jewelry out of the case for me to look at, by this time I had been there 25 minutes. Two customers came in behind me, one wanting to schedule a consult and one wanting to talk to someone about touch ups, instead of helping me the desk clerk and whoever was sitting with him decided to talk to this them instead of helping me, first come first served, what should have taken 5 minutes was now almost 45 minutes. I had two tattoos done by other people. Then I met Andy and got my first one from him 8 years ago. I went back for two more over the next several years. Then I moved to Montana and figured I was done with getting tattoos. I just came back for two weeks and he was able to fit me into his schedule for a beautiful watercolor piece. My experience consists of driving 1 and 1/2 hours, being treated rudely and the person at the front desk gave me zero information. I get there and he tells me I need my daughter's birth certificate, so I drive all the way to charles city to get and I come back and he tells me she needs an I.D. I was seriously ill informed as to what I needed. So on my daughter's birthday she could not get her birthday gift. I will never step foot in there again, nor will I be quiet about my experience!! I got my tongue pierced last Friday the 13th. Josh was so great. Everyone was so nice and explained things perfectly. Even when I passed out while learning how to clean it josh held me up so I didn't fall and gave me a livesaver.
