My 2 best friends and I went to have matching tattoos done...and honestly I was terrified. The guys here were wonderful! They helped me to relax and I was able to get it done! They took their time and didn't rush me. It was hardly painful at all and our tattoos look amazing! They did great education with us and took the time to answer all of our questions. I really researched my artist. I recommend more people do that before getting a tattoo. Most of the time it's not that the artist did a bad job, but that its not your style of art. Juan Alvarez does incredible art work and just my style. I can confidently say I will never go to anybody else again! OTool is extremely professional and clean. Before my appointment they gave me some "to-do's" before the tattoo. Which I have never had in the past. I had a Daith piercing done by Nick to help with my migraines. When I walked in the door I was greeted, asked what i needed, and told to make myself at home. Both Nick and the guy that greeted me were awesome and explained the great success people have had getting this piercing done by Nick. He came highly recommended and I drove 2 hours round trip just to have him do the piercing. It was well worth the trip. Never felt more at home in a tattoo shop. Will definitely be returning. O'tools is great. They have great customer service and always do great work. My fiancée and I have gone in for both tattoos by Charlie and piercings from Nick and I have to say, I'm very impressed with them. Ron is the real deal. I was beyond scared to get my first tattoo, he was welcoming in stating that his shop is my shop. He took the time to go over my tattoo with me and pulled other artists for there professional opinion as well. Walked me through the computer process in showing me all the designs. Talked with me my whole session making sure I was ok and sharing some enjoyable experiences and stories. I will never allow my friends, family, or anyone surrounding me let anyone get artwork done anywhere else. Extremely light touch and beyond talented. I can't wait to start my next piece with O'tools. My sister got her nose pierced, and they took real good care of her. My sister walked out of the piercing room, and the guy brought a chair out and caught her right when she began tilting over before my mom and I could react. He wet some paper towels and put them on her and brought out some candy and pop for her to eat and drink. The guy definitely knew what he was doing. Will be going back when I get something pierced. I was visiting from out of town and needed assistance in removing an angry sub-dermal that I'd had for eight years. Though a relatively quick and minor procedure, the service was so great that I took a card just in case I needed to get work done next time I was in the area. I got my belly button pierced at O Tool's a week and two days ago and today I had to have the guy at Y not Ink in Davenport take it out. Adam pierced it and everything went great and then the next day it got incredibly red which I thought was normal. Time went by and it got more and more red and to me, look infected, which was normal. A couple days went by and the piercing began to sink into my skin and became embedded. I called them asking what to do and was yelled at for trying to clean it and was told it was my fault the piercing was rejecting. I went to the man at Y not Ink and he told me that it actually wasn't infected at all, it was pierced too deep and would never heal correctly so he took it out for me. I now have a hole in my stomach, and a scar I'm sure. Thanks O tools! Read Less

Doozer did mine and my friend's tattoos in the same sitting and they were excellently done! For a first-timer like me, she was kind and understanding and made sure that all my questions were answered. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my future tattoos. The one thing that I did have problems with was scheduling, though. I made my appointment a month-and-a-half in advance because I knew it would be hard to get two people in for the same time, with the same artist, AND on a Friday night. When it came time to pay the deposit for my friend's appointment, one week before we were supposed to be scheduled, they said that appointment time was no longer available. Luckily we were able to figure something out but it was a bit of a hassle. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and I WILL be going back again. Read Less

Went in my first time to get my wrist tattoo and a ring finger one. Loved my wrist one hated my finger one. The artist proceed to tell me that he would give one free touch up. So I went back to get that touch up and they told me one time and arrived early and they told me that I was late it was suppose to at noon.the artist was so rude and had a huge attitude and really didn't want to do it.he kept reminding that this was the only touch up he would give me. Which I told him was fine I won't come back. I told him that wouldn't b back. I guess I thought that customers are always right. And not only that I gave him a huge tip when he did it right the first time. Young ppl now days needs to learn alittle more respect. Read Less
