I just got home from my appointment with Ella. She was absolutely fantastic! She is extremely light handed and incredibly attentive to details! She was great company for the 2 hours I sat. I really can't say enough good things about Platinum Rose. My husband spent a couple of years having Matthew Lukesh do an amazing 3/4 sleeve cover up. Not only was the artwork truly that, but the knowledge, professionalism and laid back vibe was always great. Last night I finally had my chance in Matthew's chair. I went to him with a concept and basic idea of what I wanted. I left the rest in his creative hands. My sweet, awkward, adorable realistic yet cartoonish giraffe is ...absolutely beyond what I could have imagined. He emailed me the sketch a week ahead but I left everything in terms of color and style up to him. I only had a few unique things that I wanted to stand out. He brought her to life in a way that made me excited like a kid on Christmas morning. I couldn't be happier. It's truly a work of art that I am proud to wear forever and show everyone. We have referred plenty of people that way, and I would never dream of getting art anywhere else. It will always be one of a kind and exceed your expectations and your vision. These guys are true artists and the gallery is full of amazing work. You also get a good dose of humor which results in plenty of laughs, a cool atmosphere and some good tunes. Josh and Matt are both awesome and hilarious dudes. I spent 33 hours in the shop with them and enjoyed every second (pain and all). Their artistry is beyond compare, both with a needle and with a brush. The shop has an awesome feel to it and their musical tastes are on point. They will transform whatever ideas you have in your head into pieces of art on your body. They care about their customers and what they want and they use their experience and expertise to offer suggestions and ideas that will help the tattoo flow and become something better than what you could currently imagine. I would never go anywhere else. Matt & Josh are both truly amazing artists and are also great guys. The customer service, cleanliness, professionalism and atmosphere is top notch. Matt has done all of my recent work and was able to cover up a very large and old (awful) tattoo of mine. Essentially he saved my shoulder and I now enjoy looking at it again. hahaha! I almost wanted to put down a 4 so that my review would be more realistic to viewers, but I thought heck, these people deserve a 5! Number 1, customer service is HUGE to me because that can be the only thing to set you apart from several places I can go to in town. From the phone call to going into the shop for the first time, these people catered to my needs. Even with appointments lined up in a few hours, I was able to get fitted in because you know how it is to be antsy and impatient about getting a tattoo. I wanted a very simple word tattooed with a pretty script that I would love. Let me tell you that prior to coming here, I went to two other places and just didn't love the options like I felt like I should have because it's permanently going to be on my body. As I came here and was showed fonts where I just didn't have the "this is the one feeling" she let me show her what I wanted and they downloaded it for me. Me, a person getting just the studio minimum for a tattoo was being treated as if I was spending hours worth of money in there. I'm a very shy person and I hate seeming like I'm being bothersome, so when it came to picking the font, placement, and size she was very patient with me. She let me have all these options without me having to ask so I don't feel annoying. I.e. Of course I want to try different sizes and move them places on the spot I wanted over and over again, she alreAdy had the other sizes printed so that I could try them and I didn't feel rushed as I put these different sizes on trying to figure out what I want for sure. That means a lot to me because I get annoyed by stuff like that so when she tolerated it as an artist, I loved them even more. After we finished they go over extensive directions as to what you need to do to take care of your new art, also providing everything you need for care. They even tell you to make sure you come back in a couple weeks so they can check out their work and see if they need to fix it at all just to ensure you are absolutely happy. I loved my tattoo choices as far as shops before but I have to say that I'm usually given something to put over it and out the door I go. Finally, the cleanliness of the place, it looks very clean. I guess I hadn't been to any dirty places for tattoo but I felt like you should know this. I'm a healthcare professional, so I know the importantance of cleanliness when it comes to tattoos and preparing for one. I felt very comfortable with how they set it up. I don't want to leave out all the beautiful art all over the place that I wish I could afford to buy lol, just assuming it costs a pretty penny because it looked so cool. I frequent nutri sport and sun tan city next door to this place and always wondered what it was about, I'm so happy I did. Out of the two other places I went to and here, Platinum Rose was the most expensive for price minimum which I'm sure is standard to a lot of places but I'm not an avid tattoo getter and I'm cheap, but I don't regret it at all. I just got a simple word but their other more complex work looked really good, plus great customer service... Definitely worth the price. Clearly as you can see, they left quite the impression on me. I left there yesterday still in love with my tattoo and them that I'm writing this a whole day later lol! My question I will leave with you guys are, what are you waiting for?! Read Less
