Recently went in here because I'm 'shopping' around for a piercer to give me a septum piercing. I called beforehand to inquire about the price and the whole phone call the guy who identified himself as the owner, was just unpleasant, saying that he wasn't going to be in the store for much longer so I should hurry up and drive over to their shop. The place looked unclean and disorganized, the owner was just pulling jewelry out of random plastic bags, it wasn't sanitary. At least 3 people were just freely vaping in the shop, which I know that not all vape contains nicotine, but it just seemed weird that they were doing that INSIDE the establishment. When I got a weird vibe and was trying to just leave, the owner was pressuring me to get the piercing done right then, trying to barter with me about prices and talking down to me as if I didn't know anything about the jewelry used for septum piercings and nose rings in general. It just really made me uncomfortable to have a "professional" more concerned about me getting the piercing done and making some quick cash then being concerned with me being comfortable and taking the time to talk to me about everything without acting like I'm an idiot. A friend and I went here last night to get tattoos after trying at Sacred Apple (they were, of course, too busy). Ink Well wasn't busy until after he started on our tattoos, but we were lucky enough to get in and get ours done. I promised myself I'd never go anywhere but Sacred Apple in Lafayette, but seeing as they were busy and seeing as Ink Well had a good bit of text work to their name, I decided to go with Ink Well for this one.I love, love, love it. It's not what I had envisioned, but after talking through the design with him and seeing it transferred on my foot, I knew it was perfect. My friend got her first tattoo last night, and she was pretty nervous. The only reason for the four stars here is because he wasn't really listening to her the first few times she walked through what she wanted with the tattoo and it took a while to work through exactly what was going to be done. Once they communicated, though, she ended up with precisely what she wanted in a tattoo.Overall, a good experience at Ink Well. If I get another text tattoo I'll be coming back here! Read Less
