We walked in and immediately Andrew was asking us what we wanted, how we wanted it, and where we wanted it. It was my first tattoo, and he made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. I wish I could post a picture of the tattoo in this review because I absolutely love it. Ive been here before for piercings and was never let down then either. Went in for a cover up and to start a full sleeve. Met with James and worked out a plan for the cover up. Was given a time frame and a price. After 3 appointments, one of which I had to reschedule, my cover up and beginning of a traditional Japanese sleeve is complete. Today I came in after almost four years of not getting pierced here. Deb was my piercer and she was beyond amazing. I've had plenty of work done in the past and had no where near this kind of respect I had today. She informed that she was kind of new but she did amazing. I am hardly in the Vincennes area but today was a random stop by and I needed the piercing done quick and done right. I will always recommend altered image for piercings. Fisrt off my review isn't based off any work performed. Unfortunately my wife and I didn't get that far into it. After talking on the phone, facebook messaging and going in and talking to an individual in person we were quoted prices and set up for tattoos. After arriving we were told completely different prices from a completely different person and basically treated like crap. I could go into the whole story but that would take a small book. I don't care if your the best ar...tist/ tattoo person in the world, if you lack basic customer service then you lose business. I'm sure 2 people won't make or break your business but word of mouth does have an impact. I can't speak for every person that works there but I can speak for the 2 people that we dealt with. Please, please work on your customer service. UPDATE TO MY REVEIW. Just received a call from the owner and talked over the details of what happened. We both agreed it just boiled down to miss communication. The fact that the owner contacted me to remedy the situation says a lot. I didn't catch the name of the person who did my piercings but I got the daith done in both ears. The guy who did mine was so awesome! He walked me through how to clean them what jewelry to replace the hoops with after it heals and was very helpful. Getting the daiths done has gotten rid of a migraine I've had for a few days. My husband and I used to live in the Vincennes area, and visited Altered Image a few different times in our college days. 9 years later, visiting the area again, we decided to see if the shop was still open, and we were so glad it was! We had no intentions of getting piercings today, but we decided to stop by and give some business to the shop. I got my industrial and my husband got both nipples done. When we lived here before, I got my tongue, ears and nose done here. Then and now, they are still amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Read Less
