So I came here in June and got my septum pierced. Had an amazing experience. But I lost the balls to my horseshoe jewelry and needed it replaced. I stopped by around 7 pm on Halloween and they were closed. Ok. I get that. Shows up today at 12:10. They open at 12:00. I couldn't buy a new ring because " the piercer is the one who sells the jewelry and he's running late". I understand life and what not. I had to leave. The guy who was working the desk texted the piercer and was super helpful. When I went back the piercer sold me the new ring. When I asked him if he would help me put in the internally threaded ring he told me it would be $5 just to put on gloves. I would have been ok with that if you had bothered to show up to work on time or not talked down to me about getting something that I paid $28 for that you didn't even sanitize. I could have just gone to hot topic and paid half the price for the crappy service. There was literally no one in the shop. Won't be back. Read Less

I got my first tattoo here on my ankle with small coordinates and it was wonderful service. My tattoo turned out amazing and has not faded at all. The place was very sanitary and I had no issues with it. The people were very nice and walked my sister and I through step by step. Have never had a tattoo done here, but the numerous piercing experiences I've had were terrible. The store is very sanitary and clean, but the service was terrible. Unsure of the names of the piercers, but there is a man and a woman, both of whom seem very unprofessional and under qualified. I went in recently to get my septum switched out, and had to wait about 45 minutes for the male piercer to be back (which is fine, I didn't mind - I assumed he was on a break). After waiting nearly an hour, he came back...with fast food! I learned he was not on a break, just hungry, so he left to get fast food. He couldn't help me with my piercings or any of my questions. The female piercer is just bad at piercings, and very unhelpful. She did one of my "intimate" piercings, and it looked kind of funny. I waited a few months for it to heal, and went back to ask why she had pierced it the way she did (definitely not how it should've been done), and her reply? "I don't know. It looks fine to me." I went here to get an orbital piercing. At the time, I had 5 other piercings, including ear cartilage, so I wasn't a stranger to the procedure. However, Andrew, my piercer, offered to do both piercings at once since and said he'd give me a discount for doing them at the same time. Naively, I agreed. He pierced me, and sent me home with cleaning instructions. My piercings healed fine, but when I went to change the jewelry I discovered that he had placed the holes too close together for an orbital.I returned to see if they had anything that would fit the piercing placement for an orbital and wound up talking to Andrew about it. He said that the holes he pierced were too close together for anything they sold to work as an orbital ring. He did offer to pierce another hole near any of my pre-existing cartilage piercings that would work for an orbital, but that it would cost full price. I wasn't about to give him another $45 to fix the mistake he made in the first place.Overall I would never recommend going to this place. It's clean and safe, but their piercer is totally incompetent. Learn from my lesson and spend the extra money to go to Metamorphosis in Broad Ripple or literally anywhere else. Read Less

I decided to get my first tattoo recently and chose Artistic Skin Design in Noblesville. When I walked in, Kara spotted me and came over to assist me. I told her what I wanted, and she asked me to sit while she printed it up. After about 10 minutes, she was ready to start on my ink. The piece took a total of about 30 minutes to complete. I went to get my very first cartilage piercing. My doctor actually recommended this shop because they have a good reputation and I was getting it to help with migraines. The piercer was super great, took his time and made sure to limit the pain. If you are coming for tattoos I would also recommend this place. I went here today to just get 2 simple lobe piercings. It was incredibly clean and the people were very kind and obviously professionals at what they do. The guy who pierced my ears was patient and kind and got it done fast. Overall a great experience! They were out of a lot of the piercings that I was interested in which kind of sucks but hey, it happens. 5 stars, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get a piercing and if I ever want another piercing I know where I'll be going to get it done! :) Read Less

Michael Stapleton was super friendly when I scheduled my appointment he worked with my availability and said he would draft up a line drawing for me before my appointment which was super helpful.He went above and beyond my expectations while being friendly and polite and sociable the whole time.The tattoo was less expensive than I had anticipated it being but it was worth so much more than asked for - he did SUCH a good job!!!He took my design idea and improved upon it, made it the perfect size, and shaded it beautifully.Then he actually put it on me...you guys reading this review...WOW I'm serious I was blown away.Oh, the cleverness of me! (Peter Pan reference cuz I got a hook) This was the best decision I've made this year for a purchase for myself and I'm starting the new year out right!!I could not be happier with the results!The process was epic to watch, he was so careful and detailed with his line work and shading - definitely a perfectionist which is exactly what you want in a tattoo artist.Every step of the way he made sure I was happy with it and comfortable and he asked my input and took my suggestions seriously and gracefully. Keith does awesome work! He came in to Kansas City for our tattoo convention and I'm glad he did. I saw his booth and liked his style, but didn't see anything that was "me" so I asked him if he could do something custom. He sketched it up in abut 10 minutes, and I loved it. It was my first tattoo (I was a little nervous), and he was very professional, walking me through the whole process, and letting me know what he was doing and checking in to make sure I was happy with everything. Had been wanting a memorial tattoo for a while... saw Keith's water color work and loved it. He took the ideas floating around in my head and turned them into a totally kickass design. Went in without an appointment one night because I was worried about one of my nipple piercings. Mandy gave me some great advice to try a straight barbell with round ends to try to avoid irritation. She also gave me some tips as to how to clean them better. The next day I went back in to buy a barbell because I realized I didn't have what Mandy recommends at home. Andrew put together a barbell that fit to me. It was a reasonable price and now my nipple piercing doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did before I went in. Keith is my guy, and he is amazing. I've never been disappointed. He does good line work, and does amazing with watercolor designs But before I started going to Keith I let Eric do one of my tattoos. He'd done multiple on my friend and they looked good so I trusted him. I then gave him the SIMPLEST idea I had which was a small cooking whisk. He googled a picture, printed it off and made the stencil. I have NO idea how he messed this up but it's kind of a big deal having "a professional" mess up something that stays permanently on your body. So no I DO NOT recommend Eric at all if he can't even do a small simple stencil I wouldn't trust him with anything else.Read Less

I got my Marilyn & nipples pierced. The piercer is very informative, he is more than willing to answer questions, makes sure you are comfortable & walks you through the process prior to piercing. All needles & such are opened in front of you so you know it's sanitized & new. I got my first tattoo from Amanda & she is amaze balls. I walked in with a needle phobia & I walked out saying 'I can't wait until my next tat!'. Called in a few days ago to ask about getting my 8 year old daughter's ears pierced. The guy on the phone was helpful enough. He said her age should be fine. We would just need to bring a photo ID of the child and they would just talk with the child first to ensure the child really wanted it done. I asked if they did them on Sunday and he said yes. I asked if I needed an appointment and he said no. When we arrived the girl behind the desk promptly asked her age then told us that she would not do them until the child was 10 or 11. She said that we could come back Tuesday and the other piercer 'might' do it. She offered no other help. Thanks for ruining my daughter's 8th birthday outing. Read Less

I've been here twice for consults and both times had the "privilege" of seeing the same guy, who clearly didn't give a $hit about what I wanted or listen enough to my ideas to make an valuable edits. From the moment I walked in, his lack of professionalism was evident. He was clearly annoyed by me and my concepts. The other patrons seemed to be interacting well with their artists so it's possible I caught this cat on a bad day twice or he's just the bad apple of the shop. Either way his attitude was so $hitty and he acted like such a jerk that I wasn't about to trust him to leave his mark on me. While I can't speak to their work, the shop is clean and tidy. Read Less

If you want some ink go visit Jaydee, the man is from California and I check his reference's. They are still asking for him at Outer Limits, in Long Beach Cal. I first walked in asking for advice on taking care of my other tattoos from Taiwan and Texas. Jaydee spent time with me and gave me helpful advice, while we were talking I checked out his portfolio/ AMAZING detail work. When I left I made a appointment to get some ink, I have two skeleton hands one Maloik sign with black roses and one ILY sign with red roses. One on each calf , today i went to castleton mall with my wife/kids and felt like I was a rock star. Every few steps I was stop and ask where did I get those tats, I bet I said, Jaydee and artistic skin designs at least twenty times.
