Many other places told me just leave it alone when it was embedding fully in my lip and was already infected. I was visiting Indianapolis for the weekend and decided to get a spontaneous tattoo. Very simple flower (from the cover of Green Days Kerplunk album). I researched the shop and looked at the work of the artist (Zech) before hand and everything looked good. Shop was very clean and the guy with the long hair up front was very nice. However I very much regret my tattoo. It's blown out (too heavy handed and the ink dispersed all over under my skin) so my tattoo is blurry and it l...ooks terrible. He also altered the design and while it looks similar it's not the same. The lines are doubly thick, and certain pieces are missing from it. I also question the cleanliness of the place because my tattoo is infected and is covered in pus. I've never had a tattoo do this before ( all 10+ of my tattoos are by the same guy in Dayton, OH and I regret going to a new artist now). I've been cleaning it twice a day and applying ointment too. Zech also just seemed to not care about what he was doing. Didn't really communicate at all the whole time. This is the only tattoo on my body that I regret. The tattoo also only took 15 minutes to complete, and I feel like I was way overcharged ($100 plus a $15 tip) saying that the shop minimum is $50. The owner took both my friend and I in right at closing and did a cute little tattoo on both of us for a great price. Very friendly and fun people working and the place was clean and sanitary. I went there because my cousin got her tattoo done there and it looks amazing! I got my nose re-pierced by Turtle. He was super sweet, walked through the whole process, excessively clean and neat. He talked to me as he was piecing the nose. I just am in awe of his spirit. So much so that I plan on bringing my daughter down in a month or to for him to do her pircing. I knew Turtle from another shop previously so tracked him down to do my teenage daughters' piercings. I knew the experience with Turtle would be fantastic and he didn't disappoint. He took his time and engaged my girls while doing their piercings. He went over after care and was very knowledgeable. The girls loved him and the 6 piercings he did all look amazing! The shop itself is very nice and bright with a TV showing tattoos that have been done, charging stations for patron's phones, seating for several clients and private tattoo areas. My daughter, grand daughter, daughter in law and I had a "girl's " dinner and decided, spur of the moment to get tattoos. We googled and as luck would have it, Body Language Tattoo popped up and had excellent reviews. There were four of us and it was near their closing, but they greeted us warmly, and proceeded to provide amazing designs for our ideas. Two of us were inked by Zi and two by Mr. Bill. They did exceptional work and we were all pleased. But truly the tattoos wer...e a small part of it. The friendliness and cheerful ambiance was pleasant. I decided last minute that I was going to go that day to get my lip re pierced, at that time of night my options were limited on where I could go, this is one of those times I was so thankful I found Body Language. As I said, I got my lip re pierced, I went in and was welcomed by Turtle, I explained to him what I wanted and that I had it done before, I was able to sit and talk about my previous experience with that particular piercing, he listened and he spent so much time l...ining it up just right. I was amazed with how much time he spent with me to make sure we got this just right. When it came down to the actual piercing. I didn't feel a thing. Also, the first time I got It pierced it was so painful with the healing process. I had so many issues. (I got it done somewhere else). This time, I had maybe 2 days of swelling, no bruising, and very minimal pain. By far the best piercing experience I've had. Best piercing experience I've ever had (this is my 8th piercing). Would have given this review more stars if I could. Stopped in to get my septum and my sister's belly button done- Turtle was fantastic. He's very personable and patient and makes the experience as comfortable as possible by explaining every step of the process. Even after I fucked up my own piercing (tip: don't pull away from your piercer), he was super chill and understanding. The staff here is super friendly. I went to get a Valentine's Day tattoo with Mitch and the place was super busy. The staff made me feel at home while I waited. I was there for quite awhile so I got to see some of the artists tattoo and they are all so talented! Mitch did the outline for my tattoo and two weeks later added shading and color. He is the sweetest person and so incredibly talented. I am so happy with my tattoo and I am happy I can walk around with his work visible to the world. Stopped in for a piercing and met Turtle. It was my first time in the shop and I have to say it was by far the best experience I have had in a tattoo/piercing establishment.
