I’ve been to many different places to get piercings, but I can honestly say that I’ve never been to a place as bad as this one. I went in there originally to get my ROOK jewelry changed because it had fallen out overnight. But, the piercer told me that the hole was completely closed and he couldn’t even see where it had been (even though this was a 6 month old rook piercing that was only out for 1 night). So, I thought that that was weird, but then asked him to repierce it for me, and was very clear that that was what I wanted, AND I made sure to write in on the consent form where it asks what type of piercing you want to get that I wanted a ROOK PIERCING. But, someway somehow, the piercer misunderstood me and pierced my DAITH instead. At first, I left with it because I felt too awkward to tell him what he did, but about 5 minutes later I went back in to tell him the truth. If the piercer had been polite and apologetic, I would not be writing this review at all because I would’ve been more sympathetic, but sadly that is not the case. The piercer was rude and basically blamed me for the situation, even though he is the one that made this unbelievable mistake. He did give me my money back for the daith and offered to do my rook piercing, which was the right thing to do, but he was rude again about my wanting him to take out the new Daith piercing because he didn’t want it “to go to waste.” First of all, I did not want this daith piercing in the first place, and second of all, it was not my fault that it was going to be “wasted.” But when I insisted that he take it out anyways, he was rude and not at all gentle with the fresh piercing while taking it out. Overall, this experience was horrible and I reccommend that anybody who wants a good piercing experience or a good experience in general should NOT go to Studio ll. Like... I went in there to get new jewelry in my rook piercing, and instead they pierced my daith. This was an absolutely terrible place and I will never be back. Read Less

I got my 1st tattoo a bit spontaneously, and I can't be any happier about it! Odell talked me through it and made sure I was doing all right through the entire process. It looks absolutely amazing. I got my tongue pierced there a week ago as a birthday present to myself. The staff there is really great and the shop is 100% nice and clean. My piercing has healed very well. The aftercare instructions given were simple and thy were there for me when I had a question. Overall I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who asks where to go for a piercing. Read Less

Odell was seriously the best artist I've ever worked with (6th tattoo) Super friendly & thorough! My husband & I got matching tattoos on a whim while we were visiting New Buffalo for our anniversary .. We didn't know of this shop or any artists & took a chance. They did my nose piercing over a year ago while I was on vacation and didn't even use the right type of stud. They used a bone stud so it fell out multiple times. After worrying about it closing up I had to stop at my local Hot Topic when I got back and grab replacement studs. So basically I had to change my brand new piercing into an L-stud with no experience at all after a day or two. Somehow it healed fine with no problem. They also gave no info on how long it takes to heal or anything and acted a bit annoyed that we came in. They wouldn't let my mom in the room either so I felt a tad bit uncomfortable. Read Less

Studio II is great! My husband and I decided to get a tattoo while out of town so we were a little nervous about going to a place we knew nothing about. Luckily, all of our worries quickly disappeared. The staff is very friendly and Odell is an amazing artist. He was extremely accommodating and he does anything and everything to make you comfortable. totally relaxed atmosphere , very clean. super courteous too. I'm a return customer, not just one time. if you want a consistent, quality job this is the place. ... also no annoying background atmosphere-no music that's hard to deal with, or cigarette smoke or anything that affects piercing or tattoo work. I'd say the only negative of my experience here is the diligence on sterility... and I'd rather have someone be overly clean than not. (Edited, add on) Just wanted to add, after a year with pierces, 100% painless, not a single infection, or "break in" period for healing...the materials used work perfectly for me- I have slight metal sensitivity.
