Edit: just got my tattoo Though I’m not disappointed in the design, in fact I love it. I am disappointed in the tone of voice he used with my fiancé. My fiancé was trying to point out a scar on my shoulder and in my best opinion his tone was harsh The price didn’t end up terrible but still on the high end (at least for me with my income) Over all experience: I enjoyed the time spent there The apprentice was very enjoyable. Would I come back? Probably not because of price, but other than that I don’t have any complaints. I understand it was the end of the day. I was his last tattoo and the girl before me drove him insane, I just feel as if he could have handled the situation a bit better with my fiancé Thank you Sean for the wonderful tattoo. You did a great job making sure I was ok through the whole process as I was very quiet. I will recommend you in the future to friends I havnt even gotten a tattoo here yet and I’m already very satisfied. I’m getting my first ever tattoo today but yesterday after work I came in and talked to both Sean and Carrie. Both were very welcoming. I had been talking to one of them on their Facebook page and they checked out my profile I came in, discussed a price and design, a bit of after care, how to prepare, what kind of meal to eat before hand, if I wanted numbing stuff at all. Sean did a piece for me in early September and it was an excellent experience! This was my fifth tattoo overall but first done in the Lafayette area (I am a grad student). Sean and Carrie were very friendly and welcoming when my girlfriend and I first came to the shop, which is clean and professional. During our consultations, Sean was easy to work with in terms of taking our ideas and improvising them into what we really wanted as tattoos. Sean takes the time to visualize the customer’s idea to see how it can become reality. The tattoos are well priced, and they have an awesome touch-up policy. I was absolutely impressed at the professionalism and friendliness of Carrie. She took such great care and provided comfort during my 10 year old daughter’s ear piercing. My daughter had made the final decision to get her ears pierced, however, it came with a lot of anxiety. Carrie talked her through the entire process and did not do the actual piercing until my daughter was ready gave her the ok. The piercing room is clean and private and all safety precautions were used per...fectly. Carrie made sure we were aware of the cleaning routine and what to expect after the piercing. Sean worked on a back piece for me which took a little over 25 hours. The sessions were spread from November to April of the next year. This was my first tattoo and Sean answered every question I had about the process along the way, easing any anxiety I had - which is very reasonable considering the cost and permanent nature of the process. The pricing is great compared to other artists in the region and Sean worked with me throughout to work around my busy schedule as a grad...uate student. His facility is clean, in the process of being renovated, and he uses top quality tools to perform his job. Sean also worked with me to help develop the idea for my tattoo. I had some rough images and ideas of what I wanted and Sean took the time to flush out these ideas in a way that made sense to me, always making rough sketches to ensure there was no miscommunication between us. Even after the initial consultation, each time I had a session we would review the overall concept and also improvise along the way as the piece developed. Took our 10 year old daughter in there to get her ear pierced. Carrie was AMAZING!! She was very professional and knowledgeable. She spoke to my daughter as she was a adult and reminded her of the responsibility she was getting done. They were very sterile on all the equipment and walked my daughter step by step of what was going on. The prices are good and the staff was all very friendly. Shop was very clean as well. worst place ever. payed Sean in advance for a cover up and ended up not wanting it done and he refused to give me back my money so he said he would give me tattoos adding up to the $450 i gave him. we both agreed on 4 tattoos that i had picked out and the first one he did, he told me it was worth $125. as soon as i got home from getting it, my whole arm got bright red. next morning my skin started eaten away, went to the er and they told me it was infected and had to take a bunch of antibiotics.now there were several things that went wrong at our tat session, 1st the tat gun rolled off the sterile spot he had on the table, 2nd there was a short in his wire and the gun wasn't running right and instead of trying to find and fix the problem, he kept going and was darn near digging in my arm, probably doing dry runs. it wasn't until after i suggested that he may have a short somewhere in the wiring, is when he looked into the problem. this was before they moved to they're new location. needless to say i was terrified to go back for the other 3 tats. finally after they moved to they're new location i decided to go and get a piercing and i had him look at the tat that he botched(because it is messed up where my skin was eating away) and he told me in front of my 7 year old daughter that it looked like i burnt my arm on purpose to blame it on him... are you serious!!!! then he said the tattoo he gave me was $375 not $125.. thats some bull. how can we agree on 4 tats all together for the total price of $450, but the first and only tat i got from him was $375??? this man Sean and his wife Carrie are very unprofessional, rude, and not trustworthy and i wouldn't recommend my worse enemy to go to DragonsBane unless you want to end up scared for life. they need to be shut down and put out of business and in all honesty i could sue the crap outta them. and I'm considering it.
