NOT CLOSED. Not sure why it is showing up that way on Yelp, as I just got a tattoo there today by Laura Black. However, it is by appointment only, and you'll probably have to get on a waiting list before you can even get a consult. I waited over a year from first contact to actually getting my tattoo. I'm so glad I waited, and could not be happier with my first tattoo. Regarding the artist, Laura worked with me to design the tattoo to incorporate several elements that were important to me, even getting the technical details correct on the tatted lace frame. I make tatted lace, so it was important for it to be accurate. I love it so much that I am already looking at source material ideas for my next tattoo (or two...) by Laura. Regarding the studio, it is a beautiful space, more like an art studio than a tattoo shop, with tons of natural lighting. It is also super clean. If you happen to bring someone else with you to your appointment, each workstation has a couch for them to comfortably sit and observe from. Read Less

I had been looking for a place to get a tattoo of an eagle in watercolor and chose Firefly Tattoo due to the massive amounts of good reviews. I could not be more satisfied with my the result. Sketch did an amazing job and produced one of the best tattoos I've seen in person. The environment is much more like an art studio than a tattoo parlor; which is how I would prefer it. Everyone is friendly which makes for a comfortable atmosphere. It's safe to say that I will be going back for any future work. I will recommend this place to everyone who wants a quality product. I was prepared to listen to music while getting the tattoo but Dina is great at making conversation. I had an initial consultation before scheduling my tattoo appointment. Love getting my work done here by sketch, it's an awesome building I love the set up everyone is so friendly and does great work. All the artist walk around and check your stuff out and talk to you. If your not already a client sucks to suck. Best around town . I don't think I'll ever have someone else do my tattoos besides sketch, his work is A1 and he's light handed. I am super impressed with Firefly Tattoo Collective. I got a piece done by Gerrit (and am in the process of getting more) and the whole process was handled well. The appointment only basis creates a professional atmosphere from the beginning and the work that all of them put out is outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and made it a comfortable environment.
