My niece and I went to big time on a Saturday evening, we had no appointments made. I was looking to get a new tattoo and she wanted her nose pierced. We were greeted as we walked in, the shop was very clean and the guys are great there. I'm officially up to 18 tattoos. I'm also married to a man with tattoos covering 3/4th of his body. So I've been in my fair share of tattoo parlors in my lifetime. I have to say, by far, this is my favorite shop yet. Moreover, Bill is my favorite tattoo artist to date. He just started his 5th piece on me today, and I'm just completely in awe of him. Besides being an extremely talented artist, Bill runs a clean, professional shop. I found this gem a little over 2 years ago. Artist turn over is really low. Piercer Froggy and artist Jason are still there 2 years later. That's one of the first things I look at, if I have to get a new artist. Good artists, in good environments, will stay put. There's nothing worse than having an artist skip out on you in the middle of a piece and having to find someone else to finish it. Not to mention the money you lose. Speaking of other artists, Froggy pierced my tragus, in hopes of relieving my migraines. It didn't work for me, but the whole experience was quick and easy. He explained everything really well and talked me thru my anxiety. (I loooove tattoos. Piercings, not so much.) I've never had any work done by Jason, but both he and Froggy are really social and friendly, nice guys. If they don't have a client and you're waiting, they hang out and chat. The work that I've seen of Jason's is really good.The shop is decorated in a lot of Bill's artwork and seriously cool, funky eclectic collections of carnival/slasher type decor. The bathroom is always clean and has never grossed me out. The whole shop feels and smells clean. The first time I stopped to check the shop out, after checking them out online, I was really impressed. You can tell Bill takes pride in his work and his business.  That's the kind of artist that I want putting permanent art on my body.So I'm halfway thru my 5th piece from Bill, working to fill out my sleeve. I swear, every tattoo he does becomes my new all time favorite tattoo. His line work is SO clean. He put nickel sized ladybugs on my chest and they look so lifelike. I get compliments on the pieces he's done for me daily. The detail work is just so intricate in places...it's amazing. Pricewise, he is worth way more than he charges and he makes great deals with you the more you come back to him. And if you're settling in for a piece that's going to take a few hours? Bill is a really cool, older cat. Like, I LIKE this guy. He's really interesting to chat with about anything from politics, deep life stuff and crazy current events. Great Experience at this place.. went in for 1st tattoo super nervous but after all my questions were answered and TANK started working on the design he created with me I felt way better! Yesterday, I had got an amazing tattoo started by Jason. A sleeve of dragon scales down my arm. This is my second tattoo, yet the first one from Big Time Tattoos. I cannot say enough how great the customer service is, Jason is fantastic at what he does and a lot of fun to talk to, Froggy, the piercing guy is really cool as well. He photo bombed me as I was taking a picture of the beginning of my sleeve, my only regret is that the picture turned out blurry lol. However, the pricing is very fair, honestly, incredibly cheap for the amount of quality that these guys put in their work. The work place is clean, great music and a lot of fun to be in! I just got a tattoo today, my first. :) Bill, the owner did it. Not only was the tattoo better than I could have ever expected, all of the staff was friendly, made me feel super comfortable, and worked with us on pricing. These guys truly know what they are doing. This will forever be my go to for tattoos and piercings, and I will ALWAYS recommend them! I showed him a picture of what I was thinking of getting, and he took the idea and designed an even better tattoo! He told me I could get whatever I want, it was up to me. He is a true artist!
