Dani (I think that was her name) did an AMAZING job piercing our 5 year old daughters ears this afternoon!  She was so patient and caring and took her time to make sure our daughter was ready and comfortable. She's so happy with the result and we are too! I can't recommend her enough! Read Less

I was trying to get Parker Hollie to do a coverup for me, I messaged him on Facebook messenger he responded one time saying sure just send me a pic of what you want and want covered so I did, after that no response he hasn't even looked at the messages. I figure he looked at my Facebook profile and since I am openly transgender my profile shows that and that must be the problem, it has been a few days since I sent a message asking if he was interested in doing the tat and still hasn't looked. Met my friend while he was getting a tattoo on his chest. The artist killed his tattoo and it looked great! So I decided since the guy had time after my buddies to ask if he could do a touch up on my foot and also give me a small tattoo on my wrist that was just four letters but had great sentimental value. After my friends tattoo was finished  he started on my wrist which initially looked okay i just chalked up the roughness as it being fresh and initially my foot touch up looked alright. By the next day my wrist tattoo didn't look as well as i expected but again chalked it up to it healing and my foot was still alright. Two weeks later and I'm still not happy with my wrist and my foot looks no different than it did prior to the touch up. For the two cost 100$ when i had 4 small letters on my wrist and a touch up of a clover sizing about 1 inch by 1 inch touch uped. Prices weren't very competitive the receptionist was very nice the manager guy was nice enough but their new artist who claimed to have lots of experience may have exaggerated. He was very inconsistent and i will never go back or recommend them. One of their artists is known to be pretty good but this new guy just isn't that good. How can you do one massive color tattoo that looks great then immediately after not even be able to write four letters straight without crooked lines in the lettering. Only way i would go back is if the manager did the touch ups himself and waived the fees for the tattoo because I expect a professional shop to have artist that can do simple tattoos well and that are consistent with their work. I went for a cover up on my lower back. My overall experience here was awesome. I suffer from a panic disorder which causes a lot of social anxiety so I was very nervous going. I was greeted by Hanna when I first came in and she was super sweet and made me feel comfortable being there just by being genuinely nice and easy to talk to. Parker did my cover up and it turned out amazing. He also made me feel very comfortable and regularly asked if I was doing okay while he did my tattoo and even showed me some dope music I hadn't heard before so that's a plus lol! Hanna is an absolute blast to talk to while you're waiting. She's very high in energy and keeps the front end light hearted and fun. Becca did a tattoo for my friend and I and they're absolutely BEAUTIFUL! She's so personable and easy to talk to. We drove 5 hours to visit Fort Wayne and are so glad we chose Truth Ink for our tattoos that mean so much to us. We went to truth ink, and Med, the younger of the brothers who work there was so enthusiastic about my idea that I left feeling elated, and grateful to give a deposit for my appointment! The version he drew up for me not only included the quote "make every second count" that studio 13 told me should be omitted from the design because it wouldn't fit, but also included other 3d elements I didn't even think of that made the whole thing pop! They admitted the color scheme I wanted wouldn't work, but more experienced with my color they knew how to give me the light look I wanted, instead of the chunky heavy look the other studio had drawn up.    Getting my tattoo obviously hurt, it goes from above and over my elbow to my wrist bone all along my ulna (outer arm bone), but the five hours was well worth it! I tipped the guy $100 because not only were their prices fair, it was $2-300 less than what the guy quoted me at studio 13, AND I got what I wanted. Being genuine and humble goes a long way in life, and when it comes to a customers body and ideas you need to be careful saying "no" and spend more time trying to work with them. I don't want some snob making me feel like my options are limited because of my skin color or tiny size.    Truth Ink not only made my skin bloom, but they made me feel accepted, understood, and comfortable. Getting a tattoo is a serious process and having an artist as excited to put it on you as you are to get it is irreplaceable, and now rewarded with my continuing business.I will add a pic when the swelling goes down tomorrow :) Read Less
