Incredibly professional and fast service. I got my nose pierced here and everything so so clean and sterile. I've had my nose pierced 2 other times at 2 other places and it was never as clean as here and both other times my nose always got infected. It's been almost a month now and my nose is still in perfect shape! Definitely worth the little extra you pay. Will be going back here to get my jewelry changed out once my nose heals for sure! Very cool people. I took my kid in for a piecing and asked about maybe having some ink restoration done while I was there. We were walk ins so I really wasnt expecting much, but one of the guys came out and talked it over with me and gave me some options to consider. The work they do is incredible. Have had multiple tattoos done here by Allen Bracknell and have never had a bad experience! Pricing is competitive, especially for the insane amount of detail. Only downside is that it will take some time to create the tattoo, stencil, etc which is expected to make it perfect. I get many compliments and people asking about the tattoos. I got a tattoo by Allen Bracknell about 6 months ago. I travelled a long way to get there and knew Allen was expensive but I was okay with that because I wanted a solid, well done tattoo and I was prepared to pay for that. First of all, I was quoted for half a day and Allen only spent around 2-2 1/2 hours of actual tattooing (he took many very long breaks, I even had to go and find him after waiting more than 30 minutes a second time). I was told to relax as he is an artist and, "you know how artists are". Fine, at this point, all I wanted was to finish the tattoo and travel back home. The tattoo came out great, but kept on fading to the point where I can barely see it now. I took great care of it, was never in the sun, followed the shops instructions, and I am just so disappointed in how it looks now, it's just a shadow. I specifically wanted to invest in a good piece, a good tattoo and I paid a lot for it. I am aware that tattoos fade with time but 6 months post tattoo is crazy for it to look the way it does. Never, ever again. I was a walk in client at the Glenbrook location in March and was assigned to Ralph. He didn't listen to what I said I wanted and did whatever he wanted saying "Trust me... it'll look awesome". That should have been when I left, but I stupidly decided to give him a chance. The entire time he tattooed me, he talked about wanting to schedule my husband's tat, even though I told him that I didn't think he would medically be allowed to. Two of my music no...tes are supposed to be a VERY light gray and he promised that they would fade within a few weeks of healing-- after 4.5 months, they haven't faded. He added a bunch of random "lightning bolts" and said it was supposed to be a water color effect and the lines are horrible. And then charged me $600.... Even after I told him no about my husband's tattoo, he continued to push the issue until he convinced my husband to put a $200 down payment for a tat... only for us to lose the deposit because, like I said... he can't be medically cleared for a tat. Do you think anyone has bothered to call and ask my husband why he hasn't rescheduled his session yet? Nope. Not one. Single. Word. All in all, I paid $800 for a ruined memorial tat piece. Went here to try to get a spontaneous piercing or tattoo, or to at least set an appointment and talk to someone. Went in before close on a Sunday. I get that you don't want to talk to someone before close But no one was around and the place smelled like weed! I have only been to this location and I've only been once but i couldn't be happier. Allen bracknell is a great great artist, he isn't cheap, and for good reason, he does amazing work. It's been a little over a week, I got a tattoo on my hand, it exceeded my expectations! The entire experience was about 7 1/2 hrs and everyone was welcoming and professional. I enjoyed my experience, from reception to several other artists and I believe one of the piercers, they were all cool. It was a great environment and I will highly recommend anyone looking for black and gray piece that is important to them, don't be afraid to pay a decent price, Allen is well worth it. He is not heavy handed so there is no added unnecessary pain, he produces terrific art and he only wants to produce GREAT ART. He isn't just there for a check. Allen Bracknell is extremely unprofessional. First appointment was at 3 got there on time and he wasn't ready to tattoo me until 4:30. Second appointment was for 3, got there on time-he wasn't ready to tattoo me until 6, 3 hours later. He was 2.5 hours late to do my touch ups and then didn't even do them. Made another appointment for touch ups and he double booked so the touch ups still aren't done. He's a great artist but a flake also. Went in with friends last night just as moral support for their first tattoos and of course I couldn't resist getting fresh ink to add to my growing collection. A couple weeks ago I went in to have a matching sister tattoo done for my bachelorette party from Jordan at the Clinton location which went great. A couple weeks later it had started fading and needed to be touched up so I called and scheduled an appointment about a week ahead of time. I arrived to my appointment after driving over an hour to Fort Wayne only to be totally blew off by the receptionist and treated disrespectfully. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone looking to get anything done. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I was told that she was busy with another client which would've been fine but to not even receive a phone call was so disrespectful. I had a great experience here! I went to go get my cartilage pierced, and I can definitely say that I would go again! The piercer, Benjamin Howard, was fantastic. He was funny and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. He came over, shook my hand, and asked me my name the second he heard I was getting a piercing(because originally, he was not the one helping us at the front desk at the time.) He did an excellent job of letting me know everything he was doing, from cleaning my ear to making the mark with the pen to sticking in the needle! I never once felt unsure or worried about what he was doing! He did a great job at explaining aftercare instructions. Then, the guy wouldn't draw up my tattoo without a 50 dollar deposit, even though my tattoo was small. Had a repulsive attitude. Grade A moved to their own building at 3620 N. Clinton Street, and while we were told by that other tattoo shop, at their old location, that they went out of business, we found Grade A alive and well on Clinton Street. Grade A, and Trent have done all of my families piercings for years, and we trust him and Grade A, to always provide, the cleanest, and safest, studio to perform any piercing, and we also, have several tattoos done at this studio, that we love.
