I have been a client of Darcy's for 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else!! She is a wonderful artist, a very caring person and runs a family oriented shop. The negative reviews that have been recently posted about there being "too much drama" are posted by the people who are causing said drama and shouldn't be a reflection on Darcy or her shop, they are just trying to smear Darcy's good reputation. For those who state they haven't gotten a good tattoo from her or her son River, let me just say that River is a new artist and is learning the craft, if you give him a chance to work on you and you don't like the tattoo, go back in for touch ups, they are free for a reason. All tattoo artists do touch ups because everyone's skin is different and depending on your skin type, medications you may take and how you take care of your tattoo, some tattoos don't take the ink well....ALL serious tattoo collectors know this!! I called and spoke to Darc on Monday asking her about the "Daith" piercing. She told me to stop by anytime to get it done, no appointment necessary. Tuesday after work, I stopped in. Darc gave me time to pick out my jewelry and even offered a few suggestions. Fast forward to the piercing. 90% of the research I've done says this type of piercing hurts, badly. It DOES NOT HURT! Seriously, if Darc @ Jucy's is doing your piercing, it will not hurt. There is slight pressure, a bi...t of discomfort, but it doesn't hurt. It was quick too. The only time I felt any pain was when she put the ball on. Just a little sting, nothing more. Fast forward to time to pay. I feel great, truly. It's almost like an instant stress relief. That's when my blood pressure ( I already have low blood pressure) and Adrenalin decided to drop out on me all at once and I passed out! Omg, so embarrassing, but you know what? Darc, Eloise (I hope I spelled that right) and two other ladies in the shop caught me before I hit the floor and spent the next 30 - 45 minutes talking to me, cooling me off, and making sure I was okay to drive before I got home.
