My daughter & I got our nose pierced. Hudson was exceptional. He has such a calming presence about him and explained in detail the process. My daughter was nervous and he was extremely patient & kind to her. This was our first visit ever to Indiana Tattoo Company and I highly recommend Hudson for any & all piercings. Please do your research before going to this tattoo shop. My tattoo turned out horrible and I have seen many form the other guy Jay and they are so muddy looking and faded and no where near perfect lines. Nick is by far worse and he is on Indiana's S.O list and did prison time. So make sure you do a search on Nicholas R Delheimer. Many times I will give him 15 different ideas and he somehow is able to draw something that is even better than what I was thinking in my head. I was extremely nervous to get my first tattoos done yesterday, and honestly, I don't regret them one bit! Nick did an exceptional job at making sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I am more than happy with how both of my tattoos turned out, and it was a very reasonable price for what I got. The shop is super clean, and the staff is professional yet friendly at the same time. I went here for a tattoo a couple weeks ago and had a great experience only to later realize that the man who did my tattoo is a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER. His name is nick. The other men of the store are thieves and have been fired from previous tattoo shops for stealing from the store. If you're looking for somewhere to go, go to "Carmel tattoo ink". I got a cartilage piercing and am so pleased with it. The artist who did the piercing was professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions and didn't rush me in any way. The piercing itself was easy and exactly what I wanted. He definitely knew what he was doing. I have tried multiple times to get my ink touched up because of the fading (after only a few months) which I have never had to do since I have ink that is 10 years old and still looks brighter than the piece I got last year... every time I asked to come in on off times i am treated poorly and was just told a paying customer trumped me even though 1. I have never said I was not paying 2. I already paid once and tipped a second time when I got it touched up the first time... Hands down the BEST tattoo & piercing shop north of Indy! Do not go anywhere else for your next piece of ink or piercing. The employees here are incredibly friendly, experienced and understanding. I went in about a week ago for a large leg piece, and Nick was stellar! I walked in without an appointment and he was so chill about it. He was able to depict exactly what I wanted in a tattoo, and his line work is OUTSTANDING. His hilarious sense of humor was one of the best parts of my experience as well. We had the friendliest of conversations during my 2 hour session :-) Not to mention, he charged me appropriately. I paid for a high quality tattoo, and that's what I got. I'll be going in at the end of this week to get it colored in, and I have no doubt that it will turn out beautiful. Additionally, Indiana Tattoo Company is very clean. Nick was diligent in his sanitation techniques, making sure to clean all instruments and furniture before and after tattooing. I happened to visit Jay at another studio he was with and scheduled a very important tattoo for me and I was hesitant at first he took my rosary then a few days later he sent me an email of his drawing... More detailed than I could imagine he counted the beads and designed a layout. A friend of mine and I took our daughters here to get their ears pierced for the first time. Hudson is absolutely AMAZING!! Both girls were obviously nervous, he was calm and answered everyone of their questions. He talked the girls through step by step of what he was going to do and put them at ease. My wife and I were looking for a tattoo parlor to get a special meaning tattoo. Our first encounter with ITC we met Hudson. He welcomed us when we walked in the door, introduced himself and explained to us about the shop. Jay, the artist, was not there at the time so Hudson told us how we could arrange an appointment or walk in if we wanted. An appointment set, we had our designed tattoos recreated by Jay, and then the art work started!!The shop is super clean, everything meticulously taken care of and the attention to detail is great. Obviously, we are pleased with the place itself, but what stands out is the artists work, his attention to detail and his quality of work. Whether it's a small $$ tattoo or a $1000 tattoo, Jay puts the time and quality to the artwork as if it's a million dollars to the customer.
