Place is super clean. Everyone is friendly no attitudes just good people. Fair on prices and the time he spends actually tattooing. I have had spider do 4 tattoos for me. My wife has had 3. He has done everything from a small 2 inch rose to a pin up to a full sleeve for us. His artwork and skill level is second to none. His over 20 years of experience can be seen in his work and he always has given me sound advice on colors to use and explains why he is changing something in the artwork. Spider Tattoz is worth every penny.

I was told to check out Spider tattooz through my boyfriend (now fiancè) five years ago. Spider did my first tattoo and I've been back for three more since. I also brought my dad, brother, and best friend there to get their tattoos done. Totally worth the drive to get great work done, at a reasonable price, from a very friendly guy who loves what he does. And you can't forget about his amazing sidekick and wife, who is always there to lend a hand when needed. Thanks Spider and Glo!

This is the best place to get tatted. After my friend recommend me this place to get my tattoo. I got my third tattoo here by Mike. Mike was great, nice guy. Also Gloria was talking to me and my sister the whole time which made the time go by really fast and made me don't feel the pain. Mike is fast and really good. He also tattooed black hawks players. I love the attitude, the quality, the place and the price. Seriously chapeau off!!!

I recently had a tribute tattoo completed by Spider and the end result is awesome!! He took my artwork and improved it, doubled checked all the spelling and names, and did in two hours what some artists will do in four! Not only that, the price was excellent and I didn't have to deal with the local hipsters that are constantly streaming into other shops in and around Elgin. Great work Spider, I'll see you next month for some more work!!

I have a sleeve and went in to get more work done. Spider fixed one of my designs and helped me with a cover-up. I have gone to 4 different artists in Chicago and had ok service. Spider was polite and I will definitely go back for my next pieces. You need to call to get an appointment. His staff called me to come in earlier since the person before me was done early.

This place is horrible. Β I wouldn't call the people that work there "artists" what so ever. Β He put the stencil on and said it looked good and I looked in the mirror and it was totally crooked. If I wouldn't have said anything he would have tattooed the worst tattoo on me ever and been totally ok with it. Β Thats not cool. It took him 2 more tried to get it right. Β The only way this place stays open is if the townies from sycamore keep it open, because know one in there right mind would choose this place with all the other places to choose from in the suburbs.

Professional & no-hassle, Spider Tattooz is an excellent tattoo shop in the Sycamore area.As the proud owner of a number of tattoos all hailing from different corners of the USA, I was pleasantly surprised to discover Spider Tattooz nestled in the small town of Sycamore, IL. Their employees (especially Spider himself) all have very efficient, skillful & no b.s. attitudes. This is not your usual cooler-than-thou tattoo studio!My work at Spider Tattooz was well done, clean & competitively priced. Looking forward to returning to Spider Tattooz for new tattoo work!

Place is super clean. Everyone is friendly no attitudes just good people. Fair on prices and the time he spends actually tattooing. I have had spider do 4 tattoos for me. My wife has had 3. He took my artwork and improved it, doubled checked all the spelling and names, and did in two hours what some artists will do in four! Not only that, the price was excellent and I didn't have to deal with the local hipsters that are constantly streaming into other shops in and around Elgin. This place is horrible. Β I wouldn't call the people that work there "artists" what so ever. Β He put the stencil on and said it looked good and I looked in the mirror and it was totally crooked. If I wouldn't have said anything he would have tattooed the worst tattoo on me ever and been totally ok with it. Β Thats not cool. It took him 2 more tried to get it right.
