This is a little hidden gym. If you aren't a frequent shopper of the other stores in the shopping plaza, you might just overlook it. Don't. My daughter wanted to get her belly button pierced for her 18th birthday. It took everything in me to agree to let her go it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a nice guy at the receptionist desk. They were able to accommodate us, even though she was a walk in. Happy Dave did her piercing. His name says it all. He made my daughter and I feel so comfortable. He thoroughly explained to us the sterilizing process, the actual piercing process, and how to care for her piercing. This is a very clean shop. I had a piece that was started a couple years ago by an artist outside of Heathen Ink, and I wasn't completely happy with how it turned out. It wasn't terrible but could have been done better, in my opinion. Early this year I read reviews on Heathen Ink and recognized that many people were very pleased with Beck's work. I decided to go check out the shop and meet her! I explained what I really wanted fixed and told her the theme I was going for. A month later I was coming bac...k in because I scheduled an appointment in confidence that she knew how to turn this potential masterpiece into a masterpiece itself! After my first session I was already so very pleased with her ideas and what she spruced up for me. Today was the 2nd/last session and needless to say I have found MY artist that I want to continue my tattoo journey with. Finally! She BLEW my mind. Not only is her work angelic, mind-boggling and clean, but she has truly a genuine, real, down to earth, hippy, quirky, kind, goofy soul! <3 I love that she works alone and has her entire shop to herself where it's comfortable and clean and very decorative.
