Went there 3 times and still don’t have a tattoo.. called to make an appointment. Was told that it’s a direct walk-in.went there twice only to be told to come back a day later . Even after checking the timings online and calling and asking them , the guy was rude enough to say we are shut at 6pm when I was told on the phone that they are open till 8pm. Not going there again. Only reason they get a star is because we have to rate it. No kind of structure or rules in place. Stay away from Manny worse artist their is. He can talk a game but absolutely no good. Not only does his work suffer but he set up multiple appt for me and never showed up he always had an excuse he was either getting food or it was his day off!!! Worse part is this shop doesnt have a shop manager to keep things in order so basicall u have a bunch of artist who just rent the space and make their own rules and come as they go! My fiance and I came here to get tattoos after losing our son in my 6 month of pregnancy. I wanted a simple footprint tattoo with his name. My fiancé got a custom tattoo with his name and stats. I worked with Bam. This was my first tattoo. I gave him the footprints and he copied them. I told him I wanted actual size. When he stenciled them on I asked, "These are actual size?" To which he replied yes. I wasn't thinking straight and should've went downstairs to get the actua...l footprints and compare but I didn't. Yes my fault but after being confirmed two times verbally (and out of my mind with grief) I didn't. He did the tattoo and my fiancé got a beautiful arm tattoo from max. After I got home someone mentioned how big his feet were to me after seeing my tattoo. I thought about it and knew something was off. After about a week (I didn't want to know) I finally compared and saw that my tattoo was much bigger than his actual footprints. I was heart broken. After everything we just went through now this happened. I called to talk to Bam and was told by another person that I signed a waiver and it was my fault. Technically that was true but I was shocked by the lack of compassion. I asked to talk with Bam and when I explained what happened he said "how is that possible?" Ummm...Really? I sent the owner an email explaining the situation and asking for a credit for my husband to get another matching tattoo from his artist Max. No response. The entire situation has been extremely emotional. I now have to get this removed so on top of $5000 in medical bills I'm looking at approximately about her $1500 in removal. At the end of the day I know legally I'm at fault but I just would've hoped a business would care a bit more about their work. I own a business and if this happened at my place I would do something for the client to try and make it right. Max was great. A true artist. My fiancé will be going back to get another tattoo of our daughters name to match our sons. It's hard for me to write this review even now. I have a couple big tattoos, but just went in today to get a couple finger tattoos. (Most artists hate doing them) Manny took care of me, he really listened and was patient and encouraged me to be picky, and gave me honest opinions to make my ideas better. I didn't feel like he just wanted to breeze through some smaller tattoos and get me out of his chair, and in addition to talent my vibe with an artist is really important.
