After having to remove me all my piercings for an MRI, I quickly discovered that my nipple piercings had closed. A friend of mine was going in for a consultation for a tattoo and decided he was going to get his nipple pierced so decided to get mine redone. From the moment we walked in I could tell this was a very different place that where I’d gone before. We were given a very detailed release and after care instructions. After we were done Gregory took a look at the area and made sure there wasn’t too much scar tissue (there wasn’t). We picked out jewelry and while we it was being sterilized (which was done on front of us). Rachael (who is AWESOME) gave us very detailed after care instructions. After she was done I realized just how BAD the prior place I’d gone to before as far as after care. After we were all ready Gregory talked us through the entire process from beginning to end. My friend was VERY nervous but Rachel and Gregory made him feel very comfortable. I too was very nervous but, again Gregory talked me through the whole thing. Mine were a little tougher because of the scar tissue but when he was done I looked at the place and I was SO HAPPY! Basically the first time the were not placed well and this time Gregory got the placement perfectly. After we were done we were again told about after care and was even given an appt for a “check up”. We were also told not matter what to give them a call if we had any questions or concerns. I have had many experiences in different tattoo shops. Between myself and my boyfriend, we have been to many in state and out of state. This shop was seriously the most impressive by far out of any that I have been to. I went to get my nose pierced and the staff took great care in making sure I knew what to expect and knew how to take care of my piercing. The whole facility is so clean and inviting, and the piercer, Greg and his apprentice are wonderful! You can tell that it’s more than just a job for them, it’s a passion. Love my new tattoo! I stopped in just to check out the shop. Everyone on the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative to each person that came in that day! This place is immaculate! They practice and stress the importance of cleanliness throughout their services and everyone gets detailed aftercare information after getting their piercing or tattoo I wanted to see if someone could work with me for a design I had in mind/set an appointment. David was awesome! He list...ened and checked out a few pics I had on my phone for ideas. He drew up a couple pics trying to get it right for ME not for what he wanted to do artistically. He told me the price (which was better than I was expecting) and how long it would take, all up front. He said he had some open time and asked if I wanted it done, which I didn't expect, but took him up on it so I didn't chicken out. Wasted Youth has private rooms not open floor design which I really liked. I was taken back to the room and we worked on positioning the design. David never made me feel my like I was a bother to him, even after moving the stencil a few times. He stressed it's all good that he wanted to get it right for ME. I was kind of anxious and quiet when he started but between the tunes and him busting out some small talk it made me feel more relaxed through the inking. Rachel and Greg exceeded my expectations when I brought my daughter in to get her nose pierced. Having worked in full spectrum dermatology and Mohs surgery for the last 7 years, I have incredibly high standards regarding cleanliness & sterilization, as well as explanation of the procedure & aftercare. It is clear that there is no gray areas allowed between the staff here, they clearly have procedures written out, and follow them to provide a seamless and safe experience. ...Rachel took the time to let me know what the total cost would be before we were brought back to have the piercing done, which is always appreciated, and eliminates confusion or surprise. The facility is spotless, and the piercing room very organized, with high quality equipment and state of the art sterilization techniques. They even had my daughter initial the strip going into the autoclave, and check it to be sterile when the jewelry was done. Greg is clearly an artist who prides himself on expert placement, and overall look of the piercing, and worked quickly while explaining everything he would do before he did it. My daughter is 13, and she remained very calm and had no issues understanding or following directions. We were provided aftercare instructions in writing, and there is a link on each artist's page on the shops website. We were also scheduled for a one month follow up, to make sure the piercing is healing without complications, and they encouraged us to come right back if there are any issues or concerns what-so-ever. I've gotten 2 piercings here and my husband was tattooed here. This is the cleanest, most informative place I've ever been. Both piercings were done so well I felt nothing getting them done. They have also been the easiest to take care of afterwards with zero complications. I've had a lot of piercings and never had any good as smoothly as these 2 have. I've been coming to Wasted Youth for about three-ish years now and in that time I've only gotten piercings.Which, by the way, the piercers are phenomenal! The quality of the jewelry surpasses any other place I have ever been and there level of cleanliness along with the seriousness in keeping everything sterile-the shop doesn't allow anyone to touch their own jewelry or change any jewelry within the shop yourself. One thing to make sure of is if you're a minor coming in for a piercing or even a jewelry change you NEED to have a photo ID or they will not preform any services.Also, another good thing to know... I brought my daughter in who is a minor and doesn't have the same last name as me. I had to bring in my photo ID along with her photo ID and her birth certificate. Just a heads up in case your child doesn't have the same last name you know how to come prepared.Since I've had nothing but great experiences here I decided to check out their tattoo artists. I found David Presley's Instagram and was absolutely blown away by the quality of work and how serious he took his job.I had two original pieces done by him and I had him touch up the coloring of a c urrent tattoo.Now the piece David touched up is a tribute for my father who passed away so it was very important to me that the integrity of the piece remained the same. When David was finished touching up the piece I truly wanted to cry because it looked amazing.Anyway, the point is if you truly want high quality products and true craftsmanship Wasted Youth is the place you need to go to. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences here. Brandon has done my past two piercings and I can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is super helpful and courteous. Most shops act like you're bothering them if you ask a ton of questions but this shop is the exact opposite! They really care about their work and it shows. My first time there today. First thought walking into the door was how clean it is!! I went in to get my daith pierced and met Brandon. Brandon is very knowledgeable and professional. He is thorough in his explanation and lets you know up front the exact steps that are going to be done and the order in which they will occur. As nervous as I was, Brandon was very relatable and understanding and ensured me it most likely isn't as scary as I think. I appreciate Brandon for taking his time to making me feel comfortable and not rushing. I feel he truly enjoys his job and is well educated in his profession. I have found this to be the best shop anywhere. Very friendly staff. Everything was clean! They took the time to sit and talk to me, I was blown away by how my tattoo turned out, the person who did it was a true artist, unlike alot of the other butchers I have seen around the area.
