Absolute quality work with creative & artistic professional tattooists! I’ve been seeing Ähren Bloomquist for couple of years and he’s done a good majority of my work. I appreciate his constructive criticism when I come in with ideas that may not serve me well, and ALWAYS leave very happy with what he does. He knows his stuff! Also enjoy the atmosphere as everyone is professional and into what they’re doing, their clients , and ZERO negativity in the air, which unfortunately has not been my experience elsewhere. Had a great experience here! Walked in to get more information on getting my first tattoo after a recommendation from a friend. Bright and easy going feeling in the shop. Not intimidating at all. Very clean. Reasonably priced. Zack came to talk to me right away, I showed him what I wanted and he said he could tattoo me in 30 min if I wanted to wait for him to finish On his current customer. Amazing shop, clean and inviting. I drive 3 hours just to get work done by these guys. I have gotten 4 tattoos from them over the years. The guys there have always been personal and friendly. Also the prices are great. I came in and got a quote and made an appointment and came back the next week for the work and it ended up being cheaper than the quote! Well I am from San Diego. Where you can walk into most tattoo shops get helped, find someone interested in making some money and get some new ink. I was sadly mistaken at Odds and Ends ! The first guy was super friendly but he was already tattooing. Leaving us with another guy........who was complete opposite of that. I would not waste my time, effort or money at this place !! I went there to get a simple fingerprint tattoo. The artist was more concerned about his Starbucks coffee then looking me in the eye and talking about my tattoo. He told me if I wanted a fingerprint tattoo I would have to go get a copy of my fingerprint. Either he's stupid or he didn't want to work on it. Either way I would not recommend this place. Such an awesome experience! I had my first tattoo done today, and i was nervous, but these guys were so great! First of all, right off the bat i noticed how clean this place was! That was an awesome first impression. The people there were all very nice as well. Aaron was my tattoo artist. He was so nice and friendly, and he had been working as a tattoo artist for 22 years, which made me feel super confident in his abilities. I felt super comfortable the entire time i was there. Aaron talked to me and kept me calm, and said that i did really well for my first time. If i ever decide that i want to get any more tattoos, i will absolutely come here again! I just got tatted by Nick Sharrat, in Delray, FL. He is down here at my friends shop and had time to tattoo me, and my friend said he is great. Glad I listened to my friend. Nick did such an amazing job, drew up exactly what I wanted and was really good on his hand. Great artist. He is down to earth, patient and really nice. Thanks Nick, love my tattoo. Decent tattoo, but very unprofessional and all workers there acted like complete assholes to us, and on top of that they kept interrupting the process to go smoke another cigarette. They also had someone who I am assuming is an employee who brought in her young daughter and let her roam around the shop, very unprofessional imo. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, I would go to Euro tattoo over this and that should say a lot to anyone who knows how terrible Euro is. Read Less

Zach Sherek has worked on me three times. Twice to add to existing tattoos and matched them perfectly. The third piece was a custom piece. I told him what was in my head and he created it. It is a combo of graphics and Latin text. I absolutely love it. Part of it is a feather and the feather turned out absolutely beautiful. Zach is also very nice and laid back as are the other guys in the shop. It is impeccably clean and easily accessible. I don't know if I am done tatting or not, but if not, Zach is my man. I cannot make enough positive comments about this place.  I have been getting work done with Andrew for 10+ years and have never been any where near disappointed.  Andrew has done all but one of my pieces and his work is unparalleled.  I have come in with everything from random ideas to comic characters and have been pleased with the work done each time.  Excellent service, quality of work, hygiene conditions, and one of the few shops I can think of not in the field for the money.  This shop is an excellent choice for your next piece. Got an american traditional tattoo done a few months back by Zack Shereck and it was a great experience. The shop was clean and the staff was amazing, the price for my tattoo was very reasonable and though I have held off on getting it colored for now, when I go back in I'll ask for him again. I recommend getting a tattoo here if you're looking for a tattoo, it's a small shop and you will probably pass by it before you see it but stop by and check it out! Read Less

I have been going to Odds & Ends since 2010 after going to a few other local shops.  I've heard of Andrew's work for quite some time, from multiple friends in the Rockford area.   I wasn't getting the service I thought I deserved at the time at the shop I was going to...so I decided to check out O&E.  It should be common sense that a shop be clean & sanitary, comfortable, welcoming, the people be courteous and easy to talk to, and it should make you want to come back. From the 10 minute initial conversation I had w/ Andrew I knew this is where I wanted to be. Terry, the shop assistant and the other artist Nick are both cool.  I've had work done at 2 other local shops and I've been into 3 other shops locally (of which I never got work done at) and walked out almost disgusted, wondering how people get work done there and why they pay money to those "artists".  Odds & Ends is hands-down the best. Andrew's work is amazing and he is true artist...this is evident by his drawings being displayed in the shop.  I can also appreciate a shop where I can chat w/ the artist and it's not awkward.  Andrew is easy to talk to and down to earth.  I'm not a very creative person but feel like I can communicate my ideas verbally better than drawing them myself.  He's helped me turn my ideas into pieces I'm so proud to have on my body. I have since recommended everyone who's looking for suggestions to go to the shop.  I carry their business cards with me. I was lucky enough to spot this place while driving by. I stopped in  and THIS is what a tattoo parlor should be! easily the cleanest shop in Rockford. Andrew Stickler is the owner and the artist who gave me an awesome piece for a great price. He specializes in traditional tattoos and does amazing work. After wanting a tattoo for over a year, I was finally ready. I went to local tattoo shops with a list of questions and I was not satisfied with most places. I was referred to Odd's N End's by a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Andrew was friendly and informative and made me feel really welcome unlike the other shops I visited. His knowledge and artistic skills really show just by talking to him. I told him my ideas and he was open to them but also gave my his ideas as to what would look the best for years to come. His shop has a tremendous amount of artwork on the walls and it is very clean. I am 100% happy with my tattoo and I would recommend him to anyone!
