Went to get my nose pierced and to check out the place, because I am considering taking my daughter in to have her ears pierced. I came all the way from whitewater WI because in WI no one will pierce under the age of 16.even the ears. My daughter is 5. So I decided to go check it out and get a piercing myself. Owner is very clean and very cool person to talk to. I felt comfortable as soon as i walked in the door. Very good work. He is very creative and made me feel comfortable the whole time i was there. Let me just say, this is by far one of the best tattoo shops that I’ve been too. My husband and I were able to walk in with our infant daughter, which we got a custome tattoo for. We were treated fantastically— including our daughter. Seals, who is the owner, has given my husband and I one of THE BEST tattoos we ever could’ve asked for. Looking for the best artist in the area and it's just not here. Just critiquing the work of one artist I was rudely "explained" why it looked like a muddy mess of ink, reminiscent of a child's coloring book, the establishment decided to try and justify the shoddy work with excuses of the bad lines and gradations. Seals was amazing 😎I had a tattoo in honor of my mother in Vegas about 5 years ago. It was a butterfly hovering over some crazy lilac flowers. It was too dark, I am getting married and the tattoo looked like a black blob on my shoulder in my dress photos from the day I bought it. I wanted to re-do it, so it would stand out on my shoulder. Asking another tattoo artist to cover up is hard for me, but Seals took my new idea to higher highs. We kept the butterfly and made a nicer flower, with an added butterfly to honor my dad. We were even able to add my parents handwriting. It's very special to me, even though my parents are gone, they are always on my shoulder. It's now a work of art, and very pretty. A certain OWL TRIO tat should've been a ONE SITTING TAT! If you can't handle it, DON'T get a tat.They tickle at first then not again UNTIL the skin gets beat on a bit. It's not fair to judge a tattoo by its outline. A certain owl trio is going to be beautiful once shaded and filled in with color. Just because the stencil looked awesome and the outline didn't match that, you MUST remember, tattooing is NOT just coloring the skin. There are lines that are used to perfectly set... the tattoo on the body part it's going onto. That outline would look different as an upper back piece or thigh, or even chest. I've seen your portfolio, I'm judging you based on those, not unfinished tattoo blue prints on the skin (you don't judge the beauty of a house based on the blue print do you? Anywho, if you weren't supposedly affiliated with a certain group I'd bring my black&white supporting butt to you to get MY wonky unfinished for 4 years upper half-back tat to you to get finished! AND, word to the wise, just because am artists work is awesome, I caution against getting work done for free just because the artist owes you money. (Like the renter that owes everything &his Harley to you, or the one that bought a motorcycle from you and was supposed to pay it off through work done. Keep being who you are! Unless the finished piece turns out funky, then you're good based on your years of experience AND portfolios. MORAL TO THIS STORY; NEVER ask for money off OR anything else UNTIL the work is finished!
