Good quality for the price, thought I’m not one to cheap out on body art. The tattoo artist was able to work out exactly what I wanted and he did an great job. Unfortunately though, the tattoo blew out, which I know happens sometimes, but could’ve been avoided in this case. I went in for a nose piercing and was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who took care of every question or concern I could have. I went in on a Sunday and it seemed reasonably busy but they got me in and out very quickly considering I was a walk in. I would definently go back for another piercing or tattoo sometime. I didn't listen to anyone who told me not to go and I really should have. Got a super small, super simple tattoo and it's insanely uneven. Lines overlap, shapes aren't symmetrical. Luckily I can fix it going somewhere else. Not personal experience, but a good friend also got a vertical industrial piercing there years ago and they tightened it so well she's never been able to get it off, even with pliers. UPDATE: my friend that had to go to the ER had to have her piercings removed and now she's on antibiotics because she has a staff infection from the cartilage piercing. Steele doesn't do that to ears. She took care of her ears the exact way you're supposed to. That means the equipment used to pierce her was not sterile. Are you guys going to compensate her in any way?? Or are you just going to tell her too bad like you told me with my tragus? Honestly the girl that does pier...cing needs her license stripped. I had my tragus done here and she man handled my ear causing it to bleed excessively (talking blood running down the side of my face then being told that's normal). She offered different bead caps for the rings (that are from hobby lobby - she told me that first hand - and don't even fit the rings) and they all sit in the same unsterile box. My bead (covered in blood) fell back into the box, she just fished it out and put it back in my ear. Long story short, I had to go to a different piercer at a different studio to have it fixed. My friend that went with me also got a piercing and she didn't bother to change her gloves between her piercing and mine. Another friend went in two days ago and had her cartilage done by this same woman, offered a different bead for the captive ring, and is currently having her piercing removed by an ER nurse and had a huge blister popped on the back of her ear due to infection from the piercing. I went there yesterday for nose piercing and they did a great job. I had a bad experience somewhere else where they hit a nerve in my nose and at Mad Studios they made sure to put it in the right place and I'm happy with my piercing and I would definitely go there again if I ever want to get another piercing. I went here tonight and had a great experience! I wanted to get a piercing and this was the only place open. Bobby (if I remember correctly, that's the lady at the counter) was very pleasant and shared her experience of getting pierced with me. Then Joe (I believe that's his name) who did the piercing was awesome! He was knowledgeable, patient and talked me through both piercings. The prices were reasonable as well.
