today’s my birthday, & so I wanted to go in and get 3 black roses on my forearm....i searched this place, seeing it had such a high rating....I walked in and the man that I talked to was rude & talked to both myself & girlfriend as if we were stupid.....as we were just in search for answers about him possibly able to do print outs or draw ups of tattoo ideas, or any of his coworkers so I could have my tattoo done...and he laughed in our face & scoffed...then said he doesn’t do any flower like tattoos as he was doing a woman’s tattoo of a flower......completely unprofessional, terrible first impression...completely rude....will not be going back there...their loss on money & more customers. Not only are the owners absolutely AMAZING, but they have some of the best people on staff here. I came in and got my eyebrows micro-bladed by the talented Jamie. She did such an incredible job. Not only was the work space up to my standards (you'll understand if you take a sanitation class) the whole shop was. Jamie walked me through the steps before anything and really took her time making sure that my brows were just the way that I wanted them. She truly cares not only about her clients but also about her work and it shows. My brows turned out even better than I could have imagined. It was fun even going back in for my touch-up. Jamie is world class when it comes to micro-blading. I know many people in the beauty industry that "specialize" in micro-blading and after hours and hours of studying people's work, Jamie's is still the best and I would not go to another shop or to anyone else! I myself am an Esthetician, I know how important brows are to someone. If you can get in to see Jamie, she will change your outlook on your brows, she'll make you love them again! I started going to 7DG to follow the tattoo artist that did my second tattoo.  As of today,  this artist just did tattoo #5 for me. Never in my life would I have ever gotten a tattoo, unless it was special.  I lost 3 family members in 2 years.  My tattoos are in honor of those I lost. Bob Gray made my tattoos special for me. He's an amazing artist and does an amazing job.  He definitely shows pride in his art. Derrick is by far the greatest piercer I've ever gotten the opportunity to work with. He takes incredible care of his clients and you can tell he's passionate about his work. Easy five stars. Today was my first tattoo at 7DG and it will certainly *not* be my last. Matt is the owner and he was my artist. Seriously awesome guy. Totally down to earth, easy to talk to, warm and inviting. I really dug his approach to tattooing: all for client input, but not afraid to offer stylistic suggestions. That's definitely a plus in my book. He helped me find the perfect placement for the anatomical human heart I requested and it looks so.f*ck*ng.good.The shop is spotless and Matt changed his gloves a ton--something that matters to me as a client (and should matter to anyone getting tattooed, to be honest). He's competitively priced and while he's booked way far out...he's definitely worth the wait. One of the best parts of the experience? He works with precision, but quickly. Like...mindblowingly fast. As a mom of five kids (a few with special needs) every second tends to count. I was SHOCKED when he said my piece was 90% done. It looked amazing, but the final touches sealed the deal. It was such a positive experience: zero pressure, zero attitude, and zero pain (truly). I booked two more sessions with Matt & have zero intention of stopping there. I have a fair number of tattoos as it is, but I foresee adding quite a bit more of Matt's awesome work to my body. Looking for a tattoo artist in the suburbs? You found him. Seriously. Matt did my first tattoo when I was 22 years old. There is no other artist I turn to. I'm now 35 and Matt has done both of my half sleeves. I have appointments to complete the left arm sleeve. His skill and creativity is worth his 4-5 month wait and is unmatched by anyone in the industry. He is absolutely confident in his craft and what will work and leave a lasting positive impression. Matt is talented in both free handing and tattooing from a stencil. People stop me all the time to inquire about my ink and where I got it done. I've been coming to Matt since I was 18 years old, I've never been disappointed with any work he's done for me or any of my friends I've sent along his way! He's a proud owner of his very own shop here at 7 day gallery and it's beautiful inside, he's also an artist and has a good amount of his work all over the walls, just ask him if your interested in purchasing one of his pieces. I highly recommend this artist, he's honest, super friendly, very fair prices and will let you know right away if your tattoo will work or not. (Always listen to your artists, they know how things will heal and they know if it will look right later in life) I have a ton of pictures I'll be posting here for this place, he's working on my sleeve now, and we're almost done woohoo! The place is super clean and there's another artist there named Steve, whom Ive met and seemed like a very nice guy. I've also learned they have a lady there that does cosmetic tattoos if that's something your looking for too. The shop is very open concept, clean and comfortable. At the end of your session your given a generous after care kit with a small sheet on how you should be taking care of your knew tattoo, a small bottle of lotion to get you started, a business card, a sticker and a sweet little pin of his own work. Bravo Matt and what an awesome new tattoo shop! Where ever you live, going to him, he's  VERY MUCH worth the travel! You will not be disappointed!
