It was SUICIDE AWARENESS SEMICOLON DAY IN MEMORY OF ROBERT JAMES THORNHILL, It was by far the best experience I have had at a tattoo shop defiantly going back for some touch up on older tattoos and a few new ones as well , I went last and got a one of a kind skull semicolon and just love it !!!! Went there for my first time today and really enjoyed it. Johnny is going to be working on my sleeve and I'm happy with the start of it. He had a tooth pulled and still worked on me without rescheduling. Looking forward to getting the rest my sleeve done by him. Was uneasy about trying a new shop. I met Zach when I first arrived. He was really friendly and assured me that Knoxville was a great artist. Was standing behind a lady at the mall waiting to check out. I noticed one of the best tattoos I had ever seen on her forearm. I nudged my husband and whispered to him to "check out her tattoo". He was so floored on how good it was, he asked her who did it. She replied, "Johnny Knoxville at Dark Horse". I looked him up, called him, he got me in the next day due to a cancellation and now have an awsome piece of his work! 2 days after my new ink, had 3 random people at B-dubs walk up to me to compliment my new ink and ask who did it. I loved getting my tattoo done by Zach, he did a amazing job on my ankle tattoo of the water/zora spiritual stone!! He and Johnny were so laid back and easy to talk to, and Zach really took the time to help get my tatt the right size and colors!! I have been getting tattoos done by Johnny for the past 5 years, and not one do i regret. First of all, the environment is extremely laid back and stress free. There's music in the air and the artists are always open and non-judgmental regardless of your questions or wishes. The tattoos I got 5 years ago still look like i got them yesterday.
