I cannot believe that I am the first person to leave a review. How is this even possible? The B-Distinct Facebook page (facebook.com/pages/B-Disβ¦) has 4,300+ "likes" and a four-and-a-half star review.I am affectionately known as the "human coloring book," and I am no stranger to tattoo parlors. B-Distinct Tattoo is quite literally the creme of the crop, as far as I am concerned. When you walk in the door, you are bound to notice the wide open space and ultra clean building. Their front merch case is totally spotless and everything is organized (like OCD organized, not just haphazardly tossed about). The artists have their portfolios neatly displayed on a table in the waiting room. The music choice is great, loud, but not loud enough to make your ears bleed. It's just all perfect. The piΓ¨ce de rΓ©sistance is, as it should be, the fantastic artistic talent that is found within the walls of this tattoo parlor. Their work speaks for itself. I have not seen one mistake, one sloppy tattoo, or one misspelled word permanently inked onto someone's skin (cough cough, like some OTHER shops I've been to). I got my tragus pierced here on February 24, 2014. I was floored by the sterility of everything. Like seriously, EVERYTHING was autoclaved. I've been in shops where certain apparatus contraptions weren't packaged, but no worries here. I was pierced by the gorgeous, super talented Ashley Starr. She was very professional and extra gentle. She talked me through each step so there would be no surprises. She kept checking on me to see how I was doing (I guess some people are total wussies and get faint, lol). I mean, of course having a sharp needle jammed through your flesh and cartilage doesn't make the top five list of the most pleasurable things I've experienced, but Ashely definitely knew what she was doing and made every effort to minimize pain.I walked out with a spray bottle of H2Ocean. I hadn't heard of that brand of sea salt spray, but dang! it's amazing. I'm entering my fourth day post-piercing and so far I don't have any swelling, irritation, or infection. A combo of a professional piercer plus awesome aftercare equals an amazing extra hole in my head.Overall, I'm gonna throw five stars out there and a ::round of applause:: for Ashley and Brian (tattoo artist/owner). Bravo!Side notes:When you are coming to the tattoo parlor, it'll be on the right hand side of Cicero right before 142nd Street. If your GPS is anything like mine, it won't tell you which side of the street you're going to. Also, the storefront isn't facing Cicero - it is facing 142nd St.There is a sign on the entrance that reads "No Children" - so obviously hire a sitter. It's funny that ANY tattoo parlor would have to put a sign like that up. I mean, come on, who would really bring their child to a tattoo parlor? Call up nana and papa and let them watch the grandbabies for the evening. The tattoo parlor hours are set as noon - 9pm. For additional information, you'd have to contact B-Distinct Tattoo (708-388-9700).I highly suggest you check out their Facebook page: B-Distinct TattoosThey have uploaded some awesome photos. You can also check out some of the customer reviews as well, since there are NONE on Yelp (again, how is this possible?! Is this real life?)Stay Calm and Get Tattooed Read Less
