I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel like something needs to be said. If they don't realize what they're doing wrong, they can't fix it, right??I've been to Ink Town twice. The first time, I got a Monroe piercing. I had a wonderful experience and was more than happy with the finished product. I came in, got seated right away, and the piercer marked where the piercing was going to go. He had me check it out in the mirror, and I liked the placement. He clamped my lip, put the needle through, and followed through with the jewelry. It was pretty painful but he made sure I was OK afterward. I guess I looked like I was going to pass out, so he laid the chair back and told me to take a couple deep breaths. After that, I was fine and went on my way. This was done in 2010 and I believe it was $50 or $60, which is pretty typical for a piercing. Unfortunately the most recent experience I've had with them wasn't great. I wanted to get my first tattoos. I called Ink Town and was told that you can't make an appointment on the phone, you have to come in to make an appointment. Apparently a lot of places are like this, but I was a little annoyed because Ink Town is at least 20 minutes away from where I live, and I have been really busy lately. I stopped in anyway, and instead of being greeted, I was given a dirty look by the girl at the desk. I said "hi" and she just sat there with a bitchy look on her face. A guy came out of the back and asked me how he could help me. I told him that I wanted two wrist tattoos of my daughters' names. He told me that they were busy and I could either make an appointment for a few hours later, or call tomorrow and I would be able to make an appointment over the phone since I already came in. He said he would be on vacation but someone else could help me. I left, and called back the following day. I'm assuming the same girl that was at the desk when I came in was the one that answered the phone. Once again, she was very cold and sounded annoyed that she had to get off her ass and pick up the phone. I told her that I wanted to make an appointment, and once again she told me that I couldn't make an appointment over the phone. I told her that I had been there the day before and he said that because I had already come in, it was OK. She still (very rudely) told me that it didn't matter and I couldn't make the appointment. Her attitude really annoyed me and I ended up hanging up on her and going to Rising Phoenix Tattoo in Addison instead. I'm glad I did because they have WAY better customer service and I'm absolutely in love with my tattoos. I'm pretty positive I'll never go back to Ink Town again. Customer service is huge to me, it can make or break the entire experience in my opinion, and Ink Town completely failedMy blog: hustlababy09.blogspot.com Read Less
