I showed up without an appointment and Shawn was busy working on a client. he was quick and kind enough to let me know he would be able to work and finish my request once he was finished with the client. i waited for him to sketch up something from the references i had and immediately, he excelled what I had in mind. the location is very clean and well decorated with plenty of artwork on display.Shawn is very welcoming and understanding of first timers and I would definitely recommend his shop for his earnest, candid and quality business. My daughter has several tattoo's, a few done by Shawn... So when we had an agreement for a Mother-Daughter tattoo she suggested Lockport Tattoo... To seal the deal she also chose a tattoo with my spirit animal to symbolize our bond... So we went in to get matching Orca tattoo's (Mom & Baby)... I wasnlt sure what to expect as I hadn't had a tattoo since my youth! lol... The shop is neat, clean, and welcoming... Shawn was fantastic and professional and pays a lot of attention to keeping the area as sterile as possible... Our tattoo's are perfect... The Orca touches my heart and having my daughter Aly pick it really makes it special... I may be back to share the experience again with my other daughter! Thanks Shawn the tattoo looks great. This was a tattoo to remind me of my father who passed away. I sent in 5 or so photos and Shawn designed a awesome custom tattoo. He took the time to make all of my tattoo represent the memory of my dad. I have never seen a shop that was so clean and organized. Just spent a couple hours here recently with Shawn. I went in for a couple of touch ups on a tattoo Shawn did about 5 yrs ago. He ended up reworking his and someone elses work on my arm. Looks great! Shawn is an amazing artist with an amazing personality. He is also extremely experienced, having spent 15 years tattooing. He is from the Wasted Youth in Romeoville which is the shop I frequent for piercings. Extremely ecstatic about Shawn opening up his own shop, I got my first tattoo done by him yesterday. I chose to get my ribs done which is a notoriously difficult spot but Shawn was absolutely amazing. Not only is the tattoo beautiful and clean but it did it not hurt very much, I got great conversation as well as a very good memory. The shop is very clean, and Shawn is extremely professional.
