I took my daughter to Gold Leaf Tattoo to get her belly button pierced and three piercings inher ears. The owner Jason was wonderful and very professional. I got a tattoo from Jason about six months ago the worst tattoo I have ever gotten. And I have quite a few. Would never go back there again. He never answers the phone, he's never there. And only one tattoo artist? I've never been to a place where there's only one tattoo artist. And he has terrible hours. I don't think he uses quality ink because it looks like it's already fading after six months. Very very unhappy with the work he did and Paid A pretty hefty price. And gave him a very good tip. Now I wish I didn't give him that tip. Live and learn. I just got a New tattoo two weeks ago at sideshow studios in Lakemore they were so friendly and the prices were decent and the tattoo looks phenomenal. So if you want to good tattoo  and quality work I would suggest going to sideshow studios in Lakemore. Just my experience and I will never go back there again. I'm sorry just being honest. Read Less

I have been tattooed by the owner of Gold Leaf Tattoo, Jason, numerous times over the last 7 years at his previous location. About 9 months ago he opened his own shop and I finally got the chance to get tattooed at his new place. It was clean, comfortable, and as always Jason did an amazing job. He'll listen to what you want, works with you and he's not afraid to tell you what will look good and what won't when you bring ideas to him. I used to drive 7 minutes to get work done by Jason and now the drive is a solid hour and I'm happy to keep returning to Gold Leaf. The work is definitely worth it! Read Less

I went in with several ideas that were not well thought out on my end for where I wanted the image. It took the owner/artist about five minutes and he came up with the perfect drawing and did my little dragonfly in water color. I love this place! Compared to Chicago parlors I have been to, the decor is fresh,modern and clean. I will be going again. Read Less

I just got the start of a belly dancer pinup on my leg and could not be happier!  Jason is awesome, the shop is clean and he makes sure you are comfortable.  I'll be going back in a few weeks to get the color done and can't wait! Though, I'll be back in on Tuesday because my dumbass forgot to bring cash for his tip and the ATM next door was out of service. Doh!  And he was still super cool to me anyway! Read Less
