Came here for the first time with my sister and It's an "all girls shop", well kinda. But they are all nice. I believe Erica did my nose piercing. She was great, she cleaned my nose before and after while explaining to me everything. I even started to not feel good and she ran and got me a soda to make me feel better! Thanks Erica!!! My sister got a tattoo from Lizzie! She was so nice and talked to us the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing is the parking! But that's not a big deal to me. Got a double cartilage piercing 2-3 weeks ago and it has healed so nicely!! I have super sensitive ears and they usually give me problems with piercings and I have zero complaints beside it being a little sore after but that's a given. They were okay. My friend and I went in for piercings and we stayed for a while, I knew what I wanted but my friend was unsure so we talked about it to ourselves. As soon as we felt ready, we went to the counter to talk to the employees, and as soon as I started talking, another woman walked into the shop, and they instantly ignored us for what I assume is a regular. Pretty unprofessional. So I got both of my nostrils done, and this isnt my first time having them done, and Ive never had a piercer use a taper to get the jewelry in after piercing my nostril, so that caught me off guard. My friend couldnt decide on what she wanted and so she had a few dots placed for visualization. What I assumed was the owner/manager seemed a little impatient and was always walking around, smoking cigarettes, or eating. Every time my friend had a question, she was always gone and we had to wait for her. None of the other employees could help us and so that was mildly frustrating. All together it was an alright experience. I took a chance and decided to stray away from my favorite shop, Good Family Tattoo, and ultimately, I wasnt impressed. Read Less

I took my sister here tonight to get a nose piercing . My sister talked me into getting one also ! I highly recommend this shop:) not only were they professionals and knowledgeable but so damn friendly. My sister called different places and by far they were the most courteous and helpful. Went in last week to get a daith piercing for my migraines and anxiety and was immediately impressed by how knowledgeable they were about it. Down to the literature available about piercings for pain management, you could really tell that they know their stuff! Alex did such a great job on it and I haven't had a migraine or anxiety attack yet. I asked about a tattoo to cover a Kanji that I got when I was 18. I mentioned things that I wanted incorporated in the design and Meg created a custom design out of the symbols that were most important to me. Black Lace Ink is everything you would want in a tattoo and piercing studio! Extraordinarily clean, warm and inviting, spacious, full of incredibly talented artists who go above and beyond to ensure you love their work. You will walk out completely satisfied with a gorgeous new piece of artwork, I know, as I have numerous times. I walked into Black Lace Ink, in hopes to get a Tattoo redone, as I did not like what another shop did to my chest piece, I will not name names bu...t it rhymes with (Liberty Tattoo ‘aka’ also the shop that will not call you back to schedule a touch up, or to talk about a complaint in a reasonable manner). Meg was the Artist I saw when I walked into Black Lace Ink and she was kind enough to reassure me that it can be fixed, and made to look how I want. So I made the appointment for the following week and wow, she did great. Well beyond my expectations. They also have this organic spray that takes a bit of the sting away from a tattoo as its being done, I normally like the sting but to redo and fix an already scared up tattoo on your chest, it was greatly appreciated. Anyway I loved my experience there so much, in fact, that I've come back several times since to get more Tattoos from Meg - one black and purple, other full color, another a 3D slate rock design, and then I am currently working on a sleeve which will be many sittings. My Tats are absolutely beautiful and I love how they look. If I were to ever recommend a shop it would be them, I have sent several people to them and most recently my wife was tattooed and received a 2 piercings. My wife had never been Tattooed before and Meg put her at ease without coddling her, she appreciated her ideas and applied her own style accordingly, and did top-notch work without an air of pretension. I've been to a few different tattoo parlors but this is by far my favorite & I will definitely be staying here. Serena has done two of my tattoos so far & she does great work. I got the most simple tattoo. Coexist with a peace sign on my wrist. I saw that the peace sign was uneven and asked my artist to touch it up. She said it was just the stencil and that it will be fine when she is finished. She wiped off and cleaned my whole tattoo, touched up the letters, and left the peace sign alone... I had already asked her to fix it, I will not be going in for a touch up because I asked right away for her to fix it. I will be doing business elsewhere. This shop is close to home and looked very nice. I just don't understand how she didn't think it needed to be fixed right away. Maybe she just didn't care enough. Very disappointed with the shop.
