i got a nostril piercing here. the man who did it bent the jewelry wrong and it broke and fell out the next day. i sent a photo showing that the jewelry wasnt bent correctly and he refused to bend me a new piece for free. he said i could come in and get it re pierced for another $50. i did it since the hole closed up, and when i did come back in, i was offered a discount in exchange for my phone number. very unprofessional and will not be returning. Got my belly button pierced here. Place was dirty and smelled of smoke. My piercing was crooked and is continuing to struggle heal. Only chose this place because it was cheap. Do it right and get your piercing elsewhere. Native rituals is great, got my nose pierced there and two tattoos and had no problems. All of the people were very nice. Pores of color was a very odd and creepy experience that he made very sexual making excessive comments about how sexy and exotic belly button piercings are. When I walked in, the smell of cigarettes and something else smacked me right in the face. I went here probably 5 years ago to get my nose pierced for the first time & the whole experience was awful. The only piercer / tattoo artist had the smell of booze on his breath so I'm 99% positive he was drunk. I decided to make a drive all the way to Constable Tattoo Parlor in Plainfield instead and I'm glad I did because their shop was beautiful, CLEAN, and friendly. Read Less

My sister unfortunately went here for a tattoo and piercing on separate occasions. Her boyfriend paid. Their choice was based upon price. Bad idea! Her tattoo had to be redone after it healed and still looks like it was someone's first time doing a tattoo. She got it redone here which was only because it was free. Are you kidding me???! And to make matters worse!!! She said the owner (heavy set older man) did the work and the ENTIRE time was talking extremely inappropriately about sexual relations with his wife/girlfriend (whatever she is) being with other people and all this horrible traumatizing stuff!! I would have got up and walked out work half done or not!! Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional!!! Do not go here!! Dirty run down and UNTRUSTWORTHY!! Good work ain't cheap, cheap work ain't good remember this when searching for a tattoo shop!!! Now she has to get it fixed at a reputable place. Took my daughter there last year to get a piercing. The owners were nice but the place reeked of cigarettes and was very dirty. Called Monday to ask about pricing on a peircing. He said $50. They open at 11 and I was in the area so decided to get a peircing on myself. Sign said open and website said they opened at 11. (It was almost 11:30). Called and no one answered. Ended up going to The Constable in Plainfield. The shop was clean, staff was friendly and the piercing was only $25!!! Kind of glad they opened late because something good came out of it. Read Less

The place reeks of cigarettes. The old lady behind the counter was very rude. My friend was told by the owner, the one who did the tattoo, that he should come back in a couple months to get the tattoo touched up. I walked in, wasn't acknowledged at all for 15 minutes, stood there waiting to know when/if there was time for a piercing (or if he knew I was even in the room, even though the door buzzes as you walk in...). This place had majorly poor customer service. I just walked in to get a quote and was talked down at and told I cannot have what I wanted bc quote "it's just not possible and youre too nieve to know how a gun works when tattooing" said the receptionist as she shouted over the drunk guy getting a tattoo in the chair. I walked in and experienced rude remarks, zero class, and complete ignorance. It was a really unfreidly environment that looked as rude as the service. Got my nose pierced last Sunday the place did smell of smoke and looked very old and dusty. Dennis was very kind to me and showed me that he opened everything new in front of me. Went in for an inner lip tattoo. The shop was dirty and smelled like dogs. His dogs were viciously barking at me for like ten minutes. I love animals, but a piercing and tattoo parlor should be clean and sterile. The owner/piercer not sure who he was, was an asshole and smelled bad too. I would recommend finding a different shop. I have never been treated so horribly by people than I have when I went in here. The man working here tried to force me into getting a tattoo that I made very clear I did not want.The man insisted on going back and drawing it up for me. He just left. I tried calling his name over and over telling him not to do it, cause I don't want it.He then came back and I told him I was not going to get. Told me "I don't draw for free" and I said I'm not getting a tattoo I don't want. He then replied, "then you can have a nice day and feel free to never come back"Is this place serious? these people r very rude particularly the wife.... The tattoo artist is old and shaky I went in with s group of girls and 2 out of 3 tattoos were jacked up... They were all very simple tattoos I got two arrows and not only is it not straight but my lines don't even connect...my lines are blown out and r very and I mean very chewed up this man has no idea what he is doing and that wife needs to take herself home because the attitude they gave off made it that much worse .... I went here for a belly button piercing. After a month it was still very red and a little sore. I got pierced with a ring. I went to another tattoo and piercing place and found out that you're not suppose to pierce with a ring anymore. Also my piercing was healing crooked and he pierced with too much skin and a regular naval curved barbel will not go all the way through. Read Less

Then he refused to do my nephew's tattoo because I got one done somewhere else. Really? Grow up a-hole! These guys are great! Awesome art work, up front with fading issues.  Even includes a free touch up within the first 8 weeks!  We went back 7 weeks after our original tattoo and she said it wasn't quite healed enough yet and to come back in a week or two.  Even covered the touch up even though it was past the 8 week mark!  Their customer service could use some work, but considering it is a tattoo shop, I can take it.  They have a minimum of $75 which kind of sucks.  My fiance and I got matching tattoos, it took her less than 15 min a piece to do - probably the most expensive 15 minutes of my life...but I understand where they're coming from.
