I went in to get a tattoo I got when my grandma got spinal cancer redone. The guy didn't want to do what I wanted. Said he would charge me double because he hates doing armbands. So I had 3 other things I had as backups. All were shot down because they didn't want to do it. He told me to just get the old tattoo removed. I never want to remove the old tattoo since it means so much to me. I just wanted something to make it look nicer. I went home crying. Clark has done a forearm sleeve on each arm for me. They have been large pieces and I couldn't be happier with the work he first put into the design of the tattoo and then the work he actually put in doing the tattoos. I was so impressed with the designs and the way he placed them (I already a tat or two on each forearm and he was able to seamlessly put the tats on and make both forearms flow so well. The color is great and I couldn't ask for anything better. I have several tattoos and the forearm sleeves Clark did are the two of my favorite. I'm running out of prime skin real estate but if I do decide to do any others I wouldn't hesitate asking Clark to do them. I can't say enough how pleased I am with his work. So my father was dying and we wanted to get matching hummingbird tattoos and my daughter had previously gotten a mother daughter heart for us so my idea was to do the mother daughter heart with the hummingbird inside, I got some guy which I cannot recall his name and he sketched it out but the heart was long and thin and looked nothing like the one my daughter had so he drew on with magic marker to widen the heart.... it looks like a 12 year old did this tattoo and not someon...e with all this years of exp so I emailed Molly because I saw the one she had done for a guy when I was there, she had me come in and said shed help me out and send her some photos via instagram of some hummingbirds and we'd possibly just cover the terrible heart and id have that done on another part of my body later, sent multiple pics and asked a few questions and she read all them on instagram and has ignored me, when i had gone in the guy who did the tattoo came in and said "o i did that tattoo" and walked away, he didnt ask if i had an issue with it at all , didnt even care at all the meaning it meant for me, my dad passed that night at about 2am it sucks looking at this tattoo and having this pitiful tattoo be the memorial i wanted to carry with me for him.. they also as someone else posted Would not let me do the colors I wanted either. Yesterday was my third time bringing my daughter in for a tattoo. On the previous times we scheduled appointments with Clark, but yesterday was a last minute thing and Molly was 'given' to us. She was shown a color print out of what my daughter wanted, which were two peacock feathers; to which she responded 'what is that?!?'. Her tone was rather rude and it was an obvious picture of feathers. On the consultation, my daughter described the colors she wanted; and Molly told her... that she should choose different colors because she is "so dark." My daughters skin tone is about two shades darker than Molly, and the colors that she chose (different shades of blue); were the same as the previous tattoos that Clark did for her on her back and he actually said to her that the colors she chose would pop because of her skin tone and we agreed. After the consult we asked the price and were quoted "anywhere from 380 to 500" because of the placement of the tattoo, and because people tend to squirm a lot. At this point we just felt as if Molly didn't even want to do the damn tattoo. We still stayed because my daughter really wanted it. While we waited, devine intervention happened; we got Clark(YAY!!!!!!). Clark looked at the picture, asked my daughter where she wanted it placed and what colors. They came up with the same color scheme as the one on her back, different shades of blue; like she described to Molly but without any problems. In total I have gotten 9 out of my 15 tattoos from ink well... 4 from brad, 3 from Brandon, and 2 from Donnie. All were great and I was very pleased.. they price very fair and all have done great work and are always willing to do touch ups..I especially love their banter between employees and I look forward to what they will come up with next time! They make you feel very welcome and relaxed.. I work up close with people in a nail salon and I'm always getting asked about my tattoos and where I got them done and by who and it's always a pleasure recommending the people at ink well.. I've gotten 2 tattoos done here. The first was done by Brad and I've had it for 7 years now and it still looks great. The second was a touch up and unfortunately I didn't catch the guy's name (he has a super long gray mohawk). I've also had 5 piercings done here. All 3 of the men I worked with were VERY nice and very professional. I was nervous going into the shop just because I felt a little out of place but they're always very polite to me. I'm also very glad to see that even the bad reviews that they've gotten, they've commented back trying to offer remedies for the bad experience. I'd recommend you guys to anyone in the area. Awesome place!!! Went in wanting an industrial piercing. They brought out the piercer and he took a look at my ear and told me the anatomy of my ear was not right for that sort of piercing. He even drew me a picture to better explain why that wouldn't work for me. Then took the time to show me pictures of different piercings I could get that would better fit my ear. When I finally decided to get a conch piercing he took me back prepped me and walked me through the whole process and made sure we were both on the same page. Absolutely loved my experience there!!
