Loved my experience. I went for a memorial tattoo for my brother. They helped me in the final stages of the design and helped my idea look better. Tyler Brown did my tattoo and he was beyond kind to me. I would highly recommend any local friends to go to Oakwood for a high quality tattoo in a clean and friendly environment. If I had to pick any complaint it may be that they play their music a little too loud for my taste. I found myself struggling sometimes to hear what my tattoo artist was saying. With the sound of the tattoo gun & the loud music it was a bit too much. I would have put in earbuds but I was enjoying talking to my tattoo artist. Oakwood Tattoo is an awesome little shop in Decatur. I drove 3 hours to get my first arm tattoo by Tyler Brown and he did an amazing job! The shop itself is clean, sterile, has flash from wall to wall, and the staff is friendly. Definitely will be going back to get tattooed by the others that work there!Read Less

I love the shop, it's open and it gives you a chance to see what else is going on around you while you're getting tatted! The atmosphere is easy going.
