I just went to Dream Illustration for my first tattoo. I drove from Peoria because two separate people recommended them. I had an excellent experience. I saw Miss Chris Davis and she was amazing! I came in with some ideas for a design, and she put them all together into something I loved more than anything I brought in as inspiration. She was also really good at knowing what I wanted even when I didn't know how to explain what I meant when I asked for a change in the design. ...She took her time making designs and was happy to change whatever I wanted changed even though I was her last appointment of the night. I told her that I was nervous about the pain because I'd never gotten a tattoo before and I hate needles, and she was patient and made me feel much calmer. The rest of the staff was friendly too and I felt at ease the whole time. If I ever get another tattoo I will definitely go back to Dream Illustration. Ver más Read Less

About 8 years ago, when I was looking to get my first tattoo, I started to search local tattoo shops to see which one would be the best fit for me. After talking with Kay at Dream Illustrations I knew it was the place for me.I've gotten all of my work done at Dream Illustrations, specifically with Kay. I went there for a small back piece, leg tattoo, inner arm tattoo, and a half-sleeve and I've loved everything I walk out of there with. I always felt welcomed there, all of the staff are friendly and helpful.The best part, for me, is the overall experience. When working with Kay it's definitely a partnership. After giving the initial idea, she will draw something up and discuss it with you to make sure it's what you want. She's always open to suggestions and will make sure you get exactly what you want. She always stressed to me that tattoos are permanent, so make sure you let her know if you want something a certain way.The prices are incredibly reasonable for the work that you get. And I have to say, being there for hours at a time can be a lot but the atmosphere is so fun that it goes by fast. Kay and the rest of the staff engage with you to make sure things are going well throughout the process.I honestly can't say enough good things about Dream Illustrations. My experience at Dream Illustrations was amazing! It was the first time I had been to a professional tattoo shop..Everyone there was so nice and welcoming!
