Red Moon is my new favorite tattoo shop in the Chicago area.  I called in the afternoon, went into the shop half an hour later as a walk-in, and had my tattoo done in within an hour of first calling.  John, the tattoo artist, was helpful and did great work.  He finished my tattoo in under five minutes!  I am completely in love with it, and I am so happy I get to wear this art on my body for life.  I definitely recommend John and Red Moon for all of your tattoo needs. My experience here was ok I guess . They just need a more customer service skills. I set up a appointment and I didn't show up. They kept my deposit. I explained to them that same day my best friend passed away from cancer. So i was at the hospital with him on his last day. So I couldn't make it I understand they time is worth money. Happened to find this place as it's across the street from where we just buried my 7 year old nephew who lost his battle with cancer 10 days ago. My sister, my nephew's mother, got some text from his journal and "mom" in his handwriting. I got a line from a song that reminds me of my nephew and that I quoted in his eulogy. Came in on a Wednesday night to get a matching tattoo with my cousin. No one was in there being tattooed, but artists seemed like they didn't want to be bothered with us. They finally agreed to tattoo the two small bats on each of us. And they completely botched it. My cousins is totally scarred up, with blank spots. After a month and a half neither of our tattoos are completely healed. There is no detail in her wings, and only some in mine. Walked in and the place was super clean , the guys were very polite and personable . Explained to the piercer that my dermal top had fallen and my skin seemed to be growing on top of the screw he noticed I was kind of freaked out and he assured me that it was no big deal , he fixed it faster than I could blink thanks ! Nèro Lord Strange Modeous is my cousin I haven't seen in six years because I was serving in the marines, I came to the shop and his station was clean, sterile, comfortable and relzaxing. I wanted to get a triple eyebrow in one sitting and he had me done so fast and precise within under two minutes and I recommend my cousin for any of your piercing needs.
