This is the ONLY place I'll come get my piercings at. Small, but clean place, the owner is a great guy.. I always forget his name..Will maybe? He always takes the time to make sure I'm getting my piercings in the exact place I want them and even suggests placement according to his experience. I've gotten "personal" parts pierced and Ive always felt comfortable, he never made things awkward! So ladies, don't be shy. This review is for Will, the man who owns this shop, and does the piercings (not sure if he also does tattoos). I originally wrote this review for World Class Tattoo also located in Berwyn only to find out that now there's a different owner, gee I wonder why? Will used to own World Class Tattoo, and now owns this shop. Please DO NOT go to Excalibur or World Class Tattoo under any circumstance at all! Avoid these places like the plague! I got an industrial piercing pierced by Will. It quickly got infected and formed a keloid that got bigger, and bigger and BIGGER! Believe it or not, it STILL continues to grow! (Please look at all of the pictures that I posted here to really see what my ear has become from this horrible place). I followed all of the aftercare instructions, and took good proper care of my industrial piercing. I now have this nasty, ugly, and very painful keloid on my ear that is extremely painful. It itches, it burns, it gets sharp stabbing pains very often. I can not sleep correctly, I can not brush my hair without hurting myself, I'm terrified to wear my hair up, and I constantly have to hide my ear. I now have to go to the dermatologist every month to get very painful steroid injections that are supposed to take the pain away, but only tone the pain down a notch for about a week. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Please DO NOT go here, there's a very good chance that you may end up like me. Excalibur and World "Class" Tattoo that Will used to own, uses dirt cheap jewelry for your new piercings (I would not be surprised if the jewelry used here is purchased in cheap wholesale lots from China). I did some research and found out that the moron that pierced my industrial (Will) doesn't even have an APP license! This place is in NO means a professional or safe place to get yourself pierced. I must also add that at the same time that I got my industrial pierced, I also got my tongue, septum, and lip pierced by guess who? Will. Around the time that the keloid on my ear started to pop up, all of the other piercings that I got done by Will got infected. I ended up having to take all of them out. After my septum was done being healed from infection, I went to Chicago Tattoo where the piercer actually had an APP license (like your SUPPOSED TO). The piercer looked at where my septum was once pierced, and told me that my septum was pierced in the completely wrong location. Excalibur and Will's former shop World Class Tattoo are literally nightmares, I thank God that keloids didn't pop up all over the other piercings that I got done here that turned out to be infected. Quick friendly service. The piercer was talkative which made my GF's daughter felt relaxed on her 1st piercing. The pricing for a nose piercing was $40 for the piercing and the jewelry. The parking situation stinks and only two seats inside to sit . We all know that more than two people usually come along. Other than that no complaints about anything else. Read Less

If possible, I would give this place NO stars. The piercer is just awful. I went on a Tuesday with my sister and mother. My rook piercing was pierced to close to the edge of my cartilage, it looks like its just dangling on a tiny bit of ear. It's made it really hard for my body to get used to the metal and it wants to treat it like a foreign object. I've had other ear piercing and a few other facial piercings, and I've never struggled so much with the aftercare as I have with this one. My mother got her eyebrow pierced on the same day too and that done poorly as well, the piercing is on her eyebrow but held to place by a tiny bit of flesh. Its like the pierced is too scared to pierce too deep and he ends up piercing through very little flesh.My sister got a tongue piercing, which was pierced at an awkward angle. Of the three piercings we went for that day, all were done terribly. So disappointed with this shop, I definitely won't be going back. Read Less

Called twice to ask about parking, phone was answered and hung up right away, both times. Parking is confusing. There is no parking for this shop, you must ask the funeral home. Irritating. I walked in with a simple circle design. He says he doesn't have "small enough needles" and "circles are hard to do". Okay. It smelled of musty old moldy wood. Dark, dingy, and quiet. Came to Excalibur for my septum piercing, Fastest piercing ever. It had to have been less than 15 minutes. But the guy did a good job. I love my new piercing and will be coming back. Overall I'd say I'm pleased with how my cover-up turned out. Previous tattoo does poke out in a few areas, however I'm sure a touch up could fix that. Some messy line work on one side, but again, a touch up could fix it. Price was very reasonable - if I remember correctly I paid $160. Read Less

If I could give this guy zero stars I would. I went in to get my right daith pierced (I already have my left daith pierced), in a sarcastic voice he said "oh, do you get migraines???" Then he asked WHERE I had my left side pierced. He was so rude and frankly a creep. After he said "I GUESS I'll do it" I RAN out of there, before he could get any closer. Will is amazing! I went in to get my nipples pierced. It was something I've wanted for some time now, and I am so happy I went to Excalibur Tattoo and piercing.  I felt so comfortable in the shop, I decided to get my first tattoo there right after my piercings.  I had a tribute to a friend who passed away placed on my foot and then a couple small tattoos on my wrist. We walked in just wanting to know pricing of what a tattoo would be and the person there was VERY rude about what I wanted. He didn't even know what color amethyst was. He thought it was the same as ruby...last I check red and purple were NOT the same color. Price was way too expensive for what I was asking for. He just wasn't friendly or even seemed interested on giving me a tattoo. Only accepts cash and couldn't give me a definitive price on the tattoo even after I told him location, size, and color. So I went in here today thinking they had girl piercers, but they didn't.   I wanted to get my nipps pierced so I would feel comfortable with a girl, but there was Will looking all ruff and playing the Simpsons tap out lol.....well the shop looked clean and Will seemed professional so I went through with it. Ever try to remove a captive bead ring on your own, without 2 pairs of pliers and a prayer? Yeah, me neither, which brought me to Excalibur. Wasn't sure what to expect, but  was hopeful due to the positive Yelp reviews, so I stopped in on a weekday afternoon. I explained my difficulty to Will (the owner) and he was helpful and pleasant. Excalibur Tattoo is a fun, laid back, and very humorous shop. Both artists balance out with good color and a traditional black artwork. I was very impressed by this place. Two years ago I got a tattoo of a Celtic cross which was drawn by an old friend who passed away 10 years ago. I was told that the original drawing was much too detailed and it would have to be very large to be able to get an exact replica, otherwise it would just end up looking like a blob in a few years. So the artist (I don't remember his name, but it wasn't Money Mike because Mike was working on another customer's tattoo when I was getting mine done) worked with me on how to at least get it close enough to the original. He made a drawing and after giving my input we tweaked it a bit to make it into what I was looking for. He was very nice and did a great job. First off, this tattoo shop has relocated. I'm not sure what the new address is but if you search them online like yahoo or something I'm sure you can find their new address.I came in here about 1/2 a year ago with a friend to get a belly button piercing. I was nervous because I had to get mine re-done since the previous place I had gone into messed up my piercing and I had scar tissue. Money Mike was our piercer and he was great. He's a funny guy and tries to make you feel relaxed while you're being pierced so that you're not thinking about the needle or blood (both make me queasy). I was actually really scared because he didn't use the tongs to hold the skin to pierce. Instead he just used his hand and the needle. He really hooked me up with a nice belly ring for a great price (I only paid $25 or $30 for the piercing which included the ring) and he did a great job.Before we left, we were given a small paper with instruction on how to take care of our belly ring (the whole cleaning process, etc).
