I had an extremely challenging situation for Dr Laura Reed. I had previously had my brows tattooed by some one else who did a very bad job. Dr Reed did a beautiful job with the repair fixing my brows. I also had my top & bottom eyeliner tattooed on. I am ecstatic with my permanent eyeliner and eyebrows, I can finally go with out penciling over the tattoos. I wanted to tell everyone what a lifesaver Dr. Laura is! I am from Lincoln Nebraska, and I had my eyebrows tattooed there three times within six months and they never lasted. Luckily for me they didn't, because they looked awful. My eyebrows quit growing back from plucking. I had none. It was very embarrassing. My wonderful husband researched and researched and found Dr. Laura. I went to her the first time in February 2014. I went back for my follow up visit in April of 2014.... She was wonderful to work with and I finally have eyebrows! I returned April 13 of 2017 for a touchup. I could never go to anyone else! I was in a bad car accident as a teenager and a a scar plus nerve damage prevented hair growth on my left eyebrow. For over 30 years I have struggled with trying to pencil, paint and pluck my eyebrows. If I went swimming, gotten sweaty or wore anything that rubbed on my face coming off or on, I would feel self conscious. My daughter paid for eyebrows by Dr. Reed and they are amazing!!!! Hi, Dr. Laura -- I've been meaning to send you a note of thanks for my eyebrows. I think of you every morning when I put on my makeup! I had contemplated getting permanent eyebrows for years. But I had never seen permanent brows that were a medium brown color, and that's what I wanted. Even on blondes, most permanent eyebrows that I've seen are black or quite dark. That looks great on other women, but for myself, being light complexioned, I wanted brown eyebrows. My other concern was the artistry. I've been filling in my light, barely-there eyebrows for a lot of years and I wanted to keep my own eyebrow shape. I chose to come to you because of your medical background as an optometrist and because of the information and samples of your work on your web site, which gave me a sense of confidence in you. I am so glad I found you and that I made the leap! You did just what I asked: you followed my eyebrow shape... and made a few recommendations that I really like. My brows are a perfect shade of brown. As I requested, they are light enough that I can go without eyebrow pencil when I'm wearing casual makeup, or not wearing makeup. And when I wear my "full complement" of makeup, I have the pattern to quickly fill in with pencil. Your clinic is professional, but "new-age-y" inviting and medically clean and sanitary. Your procedure room reminds me of a doctor's office. These things are so important to me. Dr Reed is a true professional! I had my eyeliner done today and love it already! Her facility is clean, well-lit, organized and inviting. She made me feel comfortable by offering me bottled water and explained the process as we went. She offered me blankets in her procedure room in order to make me feel comfortable. My pain level was little to none at all. She checked in with me often during the process to ensure that I was comfortable. I recognize that each person might have a slightly different experience but my eyes are not swollen and it's only been 4 hours since the procedure. The experience exceeded my expectations.
