Don't be fooled by inferior places claiming to be "high end" or "professional" Costume jewelry is cheaply made, both in workmanship and the material they use. Relic Moon will only pierce with solid titanium, gold or niobium. Everything is sterilized right in front of you and the piercing is explained in detail step by step prior to the procedure happening. Any was amazing! Got my nose done and reassured me the whole time abd worked with my fear of needles. I definitely will be going back and when i get up the nerve to hahaha was a piercing virgin. Theyre super clean too. Used the autoclave for everything, right in front of us. Edit* So completely forgot that I have inflammation issues in my body and my nose swelled horribly to the point it was swelling over the back of my piercing in my nose and hurting all the way up to my eye.... I got a hold of Amy today to see what I should do and she had me come in and see Simon. He was awesome. Sanitized everything in front of me again, was up front about how painful it was going to be and switched out my jewelry for a longer one. He didn't make me feel bad about how badly I can handle pain and was sympathetic and understanding. It's now been 3 hours and the swelling has decreased dramatically, I no longer have pain/pressure in my eye, and it's not as tender which makes it a lot easier to clean. Seriously guys, Amy and Simon are amazing. I highly recommend them. If I ever get another piercing (which I don't think I will Hahaha I might just stick with tattoos) I will go to them. I had my daith piercing done about a month ago in hopes it would help my migraines. I'm happy to report that I went from daily migraines that sometimes would send me to the ER...to not one single ache! The piercing didn't even hurt....my only regret is not having it done sooner. I went in today and really wanted a daith done. After speaking with Monica I decided today was the day. After a short wait Simon called my name and I went to the room and he was talking about the machines for sterilizing everything then came the magic, the awesome zapper that changed the color of the ring. I am a wuss when it comes to pain and Simon made me and my friend who got pierced later very comfortable. Yes the piercings took quite a bit of time but that was because we could not stop laughing. Simon did my piercing, I am a surgical nurse and was pleased with his attention to cleanliness/sterilization of the piercing needle and earring and his professional manner. I called the store with a question afterwards and a gal answered my question with helpful information and very kind. I went back into the store to let them know what a good experience I had and to have them check to make sure the healing was as it should be and once again I was treated very nicely. The prices are a bit higher than i feel is fair. My experience with the service was poor as well. These guys are douchebags and not particularly welcoming. I waited for several minutes as the only customer in the store and no one greeted me. They were not helpful with questions. Amy was amazing!!! I went in for a daith piercing because I will try anything to rid myself or my migraines and sinus headaches! I have super tiny ears and she didn't know if she could make it work... A toothpick test and some creativity made it work!! And the second that needle went through my headache was gone! Today my sinuses and ears are draining and I'm not dizzy for the first time in months! I don't know if it's a science thing or a placebo effect and I don't care! Can we just start with how UNBELIEVABLY AMZAING this place is! I have gotten all 4 of my piercings here and they completely blew my standards out of the water!!! The way the piercers actually educate you throughout the whole process is outstanding! I came in today to get a conch and a daith. The daith for my nasty left sided headaches. The conch cause soooo cute. First let me say had a lovely time chatting with Simon while he got everything prepped. Hes a cool dude. He colored my jewelry with IONS? awesome to watch. He made sure i liked everything i picked out made me feel relaxed everything was sterile and clean. NOW to the actually work. Daith was first and I didn't even feel it was so smooth even the jewelry going... in. The conch stung a bit but even then wasn't bad at all. Care instructions and etc all advised and even an offer to come in anytime if i feel anything uncomfortable etc. Sad part Daith isn't helping my headaches and that makes me bummed I thought it might be at first but i think it was the adrenaline im hoping maybe as time goes by it might start working. Probably wishful thinking. But this is clearly not the shop or Simon's fault lol. I will be referring everyone i know who wants something done to Simon. I was his 10446,47 piercings i think he said.
