Jake did an amazing simple tattoo, even staying open after hours because I was running late. The entire crew made me feel welcome. Jake even spent 20 mins changing my simple arrow design until I was completely satisfied with it, then I put the guy through at least 3 different placements before giving him the ok. I chose to have it placed on the side of my middle finger between it and my index finger, not the easiest placement. He was gentle, and did a perfectly straight single line arrow. I love it!! I wanted to love this place. When I left Friday, I was in love with the tattoo I'd gotten. By Sunday, I wanted to cut my leg off from the sheer amount of swelling and pain. This is my 5th tattoo and have never had any issues healing and definitely never had any sort of infection. I went to other tattoo artists to get an honest answer about whether my tattoo looked infected and whether I caused it. All of them said it is definitely infected but fortunately not to the point of ...leaving my tattoo a mess. All of them also said from what they could see, it wasn't from anything I'd done but that it look heavy handed. My entire rib cage is tattooed and I had no problems healing. I've always kept my tattoos clean and well taken care of. I can't say for sure what caused this infection but I won't be back.. Update: Apparently I gave myself cellulitis. The worse customer service I have ever experienced. I wanted to change the outline around the piece to a different style and the guy, I think he's name was Jake, gets all bent out of shape about it. After a couple of minutes of me thinking about what I want to change, he starts rushing me. Telling me he has another appointment. I tell him no problem, I can come back another day to finish. Then he say, "Well, what do you expect for a $75 dollars tat". I tell him that he set the price and that money isn't the issue, I'll pay more if you like. He then trips out saying, "Just leave. You do have to pay me anything for the tat". I tell him, That's cool and all but I'll pay for the work that was done. So I put $100 dollars on his chair and walk out. We drove up from Oregon to get a medical tattoo done for our daughter who has epilepsy. Jayme instantly connected with our daughter and her idea for her tattoo. He gave her great advice and we locked in an appointment for the next day. When we arrived Jayme showed her the design he came up with and she was so excited! Like I told Jayme, I'd give this a 22/5 stars, because I'm in love with this half sleeve he started. He took it above and beyond what I had seen in my head, and I'm glad that I've found an artist that I trust enough to let him have a little free range with the ideas that I bring to him. Never had a tattoo artist that has made me laugh more than Jayme and that was completely honest about his work and how things would lay on my skin in proportion to my body. His shop was clean, he used brand new everything and cleaned his station perfectly between me and my friends.
