If I could give it zero stars I would. Do NOT get pierced here! Honestly I have heard decent things about the tattoo artists here so I am just talking about the piercer. I scheduled an appointment to get my daith pierced for chronic headaches. The piercer was the only one I could see in the shop, so as far as I could see it was empty otherwise. He took me back in the room and there were 2 empty liquor bottles in his trash can. I should have left then, but when I commented he said that sometimes his clients like to drink there. Then, When he was drawing the dot where to pierce he drew it in entirely the wrong spot. When I told him that's not where I wanted it he was very rude and said he knew what he was doing and that I obviously didn't know what a daith piercing was. I showed him a picture of the piercing to make sure we were on the same page and I thought we were fine, then he went ahead and pierced the wrong spot anyways! After it was over I tried to say it wasn't right and he got very defensive and intimidating and told me that I was the one who was wrong, and I needed to pay him. He had all my information on the waiver and honestly I was scared and just wanted to leave. When I called to speak to a manager later, they told me it was too late and there was nothing I could do about it. So I left with a $40 hole in my head, that only made my headaches worse, and I had to pay to get it pierced elsewhere. Honestly I have been afraid to even post this review because he didn't seem like the most savory character and I felt very intimidated by the whole situation, but I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through a similar experience. My experience here was a quick visit in order to have them help put the ball back on a freshly piercing ear that I had pierced at another shop (208). About 30 min before my visit I had the daith piercing done on my left ear, however the piercer did not put the ball on tight and as soon as I got home it came off. I went to Sideshow in hopes that they could put it back on for me. Even though their piercer was gone, the tattoo artist that was there was very friendly and offered to try. After a few minutes he was able to get the ball back on and made sure it was completely secure, so that it wouldn't come off again. He was very professional and did not charge us for doing this. Never Will I go here again nor recommend it to anyone for a body piercing. Not sure what his name was his face was covered in tattoos he argued with me about how to clean my ear piercing (daith) I've been piercing and caring for the holes in my body since I was 11, put a damn nose stud in it for the initial jewelry... so after losing 3 different nose studs from the daith piercing in my ear due to my hair pulling it out anytime I move it around my ear it is now infected like I have never had an infection in any of my piercings since I was 11, looks disgusting on my ear and I needed this for my migraines! So disappointed in his practice. I'm hoping that I can fix it so that it doesn't scar my ear or need to be removed, but who tells people 1 not to twist your new piercing and 2, using a freaking nose stud next to a head full of hair!? Well I'd tell you that Rocky is always on time, but he isn't. I'd tell you that he runs a tight ship but he don't. What i will tell you is this, He is one of the best. His color and cover ups are some of the best in the country and he has the swag to prove it. His work will overshadow the occasional 15 minutes late. His script is out of this world. The other talent in the shop is unbelievable as well. They are all accomplished artists in one medium or another.
