We came in from Kentucky for the tournament, so we figured, why not get a tattoo? We picked Papa Joe's because they were able to take same day walk in's and they were open later than most other tattoo places. My friend and I were tatted by Papa Joe himself. He's a great guy. Awesome place! The shop was super clean, I actually waited a little extra time because he wanted to mop his station and make sure that every high use item was sterilized and wrapped. Joe was an awesome guy, I was able to joke around and talk with him for the full two hours. His work was awesome, the tattoo turned out awesome, despite looking like it was outside of his usual style. I've already made an appointment to go back to him next week for more work and plan on him doing my sleeve. He is the third tattoo artist I've been to and is by far the best. Honestly the best tattoo artist in the valley. Never going anywhere else. Found him based on his Google reviews, and I am SO glad I did. I originally just needed a small piece on my ribs, but the work he did and the care he put in to making sure my tattoo was perfect convinced me to keep coming back. Since then, he's tattooed my hands and soon to be the entirety of my left arm. The staff here is amazing and they all do amazing work. Dru's jokes are so bad, they're actually funny. He gives good advice and will give you what you want but also tell you if he thinks it will look terrible or if its in a bad spot, which I really appreciated.
