I called ahead to see if there were any openings to get my daith's pierced. Jennie was very nice over the phone and extremely helpful. When I came in for my appointment everyone was welcoming and the shop was clean and amazing! Jennie is probably the nicest person I have ever met that was about to poke holes into me. Simon was extremely rude and overstepped his boundaries. He was not willing to listen to my design idea and/or why I wanted it. He told me I would regret the tattoo and that what I wanted is just a “fad”, when the tattoo was to represent my mother. Overall a hurtful experience, I will not be back nor recommend it to anyone. Janea was nice but I choice have gotten the same piercing for 18 dollars less. She doesn't cut deals for more then 2 items being pieced at a time. I little disappointed. She can highly reconmended. I'll stay with ikon tattoo. Read Less

Walked in at 5pm and Gregg D approached me, asked what I work I wanted to get done, I shows him from a picture on my phone. He printed it up, drew it out and in less than 20 minutes he was ready to get to work. Gregg D was very talkative, interesting and showed us all his previous work he's done in the 20+ years he's been in doing tattoos. I did not bother to look at any other artists once I saw Greg's Instagram page. He was super laid back and quick correspondence via email. The receptionist scheduled me for a different day than when I was told to come in. Resulting in me coming in a day early, I expressed that maybe they should confirm their appointments by calling the clients a few days in advance to avoid the same problem. I was clearly upset and left the building, then decided to reschedule since they won't refund the $60 deposit. When reentering the building I was greeted nicely until she looked up and saw I had come back. As soon as he came out from the back he asked if I wanted my deposit back, I gratefully accepted and went about my business. He treated me as if I had nothing to be upset about and didn't even apologize for the confusion, he was rude and difficult to talk to about how I wanted my tattoo to be. My daughter went in for a belly button piercing and Jennie went through the process and calmed my daughter down. Very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the shop. I know they have to maintain a standard but aloha is above that standard. While we were waiting I enjoyed looking at some of the tattoo designs on the wall. I absolutely love this shop. I had a tattoo done by Jen last year and I am so in love with it. I went in with a basic idea and gave her free reign to customize it. She ended up designing a beautiful piece of art and the tattoo turned out better than I expected. She has such a fine hand that not only did the ink take well, the pain was minimal and it healed up with no scarring. She does offer a free touch up but I didn't need it. It has been about a year and a half and it still looks new. The colors are vibrant and even and the whole tattoo is gorgeous. I am planning on adding to it in the future to create a half sleeve and I know I will go back to her. I haven't had any work by her husband or the other artist in the shop but I've seen their work and it is phenomenal as well. The atmosphere of the shop is very laid back and comfortable and very clean. I feel comfortable saying that they are one of the bests in Boise, and probably the state as well. Read Less
