If you want an exceptional tattoo, you really have to do your research and find an artist who does quality work and who you feel comfortable with. I did my search and followed a couple of artist for about a year and a half before I decided who that would be. Since I live on the main land and only come home every couple of years I wanted to make sure whom that would be. When I returned home for several weeks I shopped around and visited a couple of tattoo shops that were reco...mmended on Yelp and other known sites just to get a feel of what they offer. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed in some shops that I visited. This leads me to Kulture Ink Tatoo. Jordan has a unique talent for his trade. His work stands out from other artists in his field. I have followed him and his work for over a year on social media primarily on FB and I made up my mind he was the one. His studio was clean, Regina was friendly providing a comfortable setting and Jordan displayed his portfolio in albums, which gave me some confidence and provided credibility in his work. Most of the photos of his work were already posted on his website. Keep in mind some artist advertise very little of their work or disregard even to display them on the internet so its hard to gauge what their capabilities are. Jordan was able to fit us in his schedule before we departed back to NC. My son, daughter and myself were fortunate to have our pieces completed. We were all very satisfied of the finish product. For all my military brothers and sisters stationed or have retired on the island or those traveling and want quality, authentic, attention to detail type work I highly recommend Jordan. His own signature style and creativity produces some of the best work I’ve seen, people continue to compliment and ask who and where did I get my tat from. He is one of the islands top artists. The first time I met Jordan, I was impressed by how humble he is - this is an artist who is going about his business in the right way. So far, Iʻve had a full sleeve and one side of my chest done by him. Both times, he incorporated ideas I had in my mind into his freehand designs and both times, the results far exceeded my expectations. Went to see Brandon to have a half sleeve done. I told him my ideas and he did the rest it is an amazing piece. The place was totally awesome and the owner was very cool to. My wife & I both went here for our FIRST tattoos and the experience was beyond Excellent! First went there in person for a consultation and they were more than helpful, also were able to easily work around my schedule for an appointment. On ink day, we were fortunate to get a call to let us know we could come earlier if we wanted to, as the appointment before ours finished early. This gave us time to get to know the artist a little, he is as LOCAL as they come and has Da ALOHA Spirit! Nothing but laughs and talking story while prepping to get inked. He took the time to explain his work and what mofit we were going for. Impressively free handed the sketch to the canvas (for my tat) and let me inspect it and give my feed back. I had previously brought designs in which I got from a difficult to find tattoo book (which he also had) and he capture the exact look I was going for with my custom design requests. Judging from his website and his Facebook website with tons of positive reviews and BADASS ink work, I knew we'd both be happy. My wife is already talking about going back for a second tattoo! Overall: Nice studio, very clean (we walked in just as an inspector was finishing her inspection), Great service! Great Artist- easy to talk to, mellow guy, good communication skills, makes you feel comfortable, and gave excellent explanations of the tattooing process.
