Took a chance on just walking in knowing it's a long shot. I've got plenty of tattoos but not since moving on island. Brandon was super open to my ideas and drew up an amazing piece. i love the guys there, when you walk in you are greeted with big Alohas and warm friendly braddahs. when they start blasting they are are craking jokes and having agreat time. they are clean and sanitized, while getting inked no one is allowed to stand next to the artist nor the client. At first I did not have a good idea for my cover-up when I came in. Kawika helped me come up with a great custom piece. He was also very understanding of my busy schedule and did an amazing job on a half sleeve in two sessions. Just blew me away on how easy-going the whole experience was. So first off I was texting one of the artists and I had so many questions and they were very nice and understanding. I walk into the shop and it is very clean! All of artists were very welcoming and friendly. That was a very big plus! And we then meet kawika. He did an outstanding job on my tattoo! It was my first big piece so he understood when I needed a small smoke break. There was no judging or any rudeness it was all understanding! (this isn't our 1st, 2nd or 8th rodeo) If you are MILITARY-STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. My husband and I are both military and IM FROM HERE. You're gonna get ripped off. These guys were awesome! My husband and I wanted different tattoos, but kind of tied together. Kawika talked with us to really figure out what we were looking for and talked with us about the meaning of what we were wanting. In a couple of days, we had our custom sketches and an appointment. This was my 6th tattoo, but my husbands first. The guys in the shop were cracking jokes and making things light and more comfortable. I'd highly recommend this shop for any custom design he price was extremely reasonable. We couldn't be happier with how they both turned out. Pakka is AMAZING!  He did a pretty nice sized graffiti piece for my husband and I started itching for a small tattoo of my own.  He never made me feel uncomfortable or ashamed of getting something so simple or small (whereas I've been made to feel like I was wasting the artist's time at other shops).  It was only my second tattoo, so he ended up being very patient with all of my changes and he isn't nearly as heavy handed as I thought he would be.  We have another two years left on the island and I have a feeling that we'll be getting a lot more ink here!!!  All of the gentleman that work here are so wonderful and kind and there is definitely a family vibe in this establishment, which I really enjoyed! Put your W's up!I've been wanting to get a simple tattoo that symbolizes a missing piece of my heart , which heaven now holds.I was searching the internet and saw a beautiful tattoo done by one of the artist here at West Coast Ink. His cursive "in memory" tattoo was exquisite, beautiful and purely heartfelt. I knew where I had to go.Decided to visit the shop and check prices. Walked in and asked about a wrist tattoo. Luckily, they are having specials and one of them is 12 inch lettering for $60! As I spoke to the guy I asked about the style of writing I saw online. He knew exactly which tattoo I was referring too, he was the tattoo artist. YES!We spoke about the tattoo I wanted and I described it. He asked what the date stood for, as I explained he said said "wow, you just made me sad". I knew he was truly affected just by the look he had on his face. As I wrote the saying down and translated the meaning, he said "that's deep, I really want this tattoo to look good for you". Awesome, just awesome.I was so excited for Paka to do the tattoo but he asked if an apprentice could do it, just to be fair as he had tattooed today. Once he said he'd design it, I said sure!Jordan ended up doing my tattoo. He's a quiet guy, compared to the rest but still very professional. Jordan is still learning but all great artists has to start somewhere and I'm glad I could help him with his growth.
