This place is amazing...the shop was very clean and the people were very polite. I had an appointment here and Kiki was able to fit my wife in to my appointment as well so we could both get a tattoo together. We have been married 20 years and this was our first tat together. Ronnie is awesome!!!! I came in with a Scottish Highlands Clan Crest superimposed on a Celtic Cross and wanted it on my arm. Ronnie said NO WAY. So I dropped the cross and tripled the size of the crest and put it on my chest. Came out Beautiful!! I'll start off with stating that the guy I got my tattoo from was a very talented artist, however his tattooing ability seemed to either be lacking or he simply did not care, he was extremely heavy handed, riding the tube the entire time causing a lot of scabs to occur during the healing process which then turned into significant scaring in the tattoo. I feel like this may have happened because I was a walk in which didn't really give the artist any time to get excited as he was drawing up the tattoo and knowing the story behind it but rather just that it was a burden for him to do. Overall I would say that the shop is good but don't just walk in and get stuck with an artist who has no interest in the work he/she is going to be doing for you. Read Less

My multiple experiences with 808 tattoo have been nothing short of amazing. I got my first tattoo with 808 and have been back three other times since. I’ve been worked on by a different artist every time and they are are always personable and do great work. I haven’t been disappointed with any of my tattoos yet. I also let them run with my ideas and it always turns out awesome. Thanks to Jordan, Jenn, Chris, and Kiki for making my ideas come to life. I searched around for a while for a shop that could do Samoan that would compliment my hand-tapped tattoo from Wilson of American Samoa. Several local shops said they could but didn't hesitate to offer to alter the original work to match THEIRS. Not so with 808. Don't have too much experience getting tattoos but I went up there on a Saturday. Just walked in to just ask some questions on pricing. For a very good size cross and other details added along with it the pricing was a decent price. It wasn't very busy to the point you had to make an appointment for days later. They were able to take me 1 hour the most and they had quite a few people in front of me. My artist was Billy. Very cool dude. Good conversation. His ideas are good. And he really impressed me when it came to the shading. My friends and family is impressed. All the staff was cool, friendly kind. Things weren't confusing. Smooth. Heard good things about them. See the stickers everywhere. Pass it all the time. But cousins was visiting and she wanted some plumeria. We was asked to hold on maybe 30-40 mins til the next artist was done. 1hr later we're told just a few more mins. I noticed 2 artists just hanging out laughing in back. Another customer walks in an is taken right away. Almost 2hrs of being told "only a few more minutes" we went to leave. At this point the shop monkey decided he was ready. Not worth the hassle. Ever. My mom and sister made appointments about a month prior to our vacation. Sister got her previous tattoo touched up and new one done in a couple hours and paid $100. Mom had hers done and took about 25 minutes to complete and he did a crappy job. She ended up paying $120 for her crappy tattoo and was told she had to pay the walk-in rate since she didn't pay a deposit. I've gotten 3 tattoos there. Can't remember her name but I showed her a pic of what I wanted and asked if she knew how to do it...she says yes...but the end result was disappointing. No skill, got the color wrong, she should really take a drawing class!!! The little bald guy rushed through my tattoo, I asked for color, he said it's too small for color which is bs, I asked if he could do Roman numerals, he said yes, but he did NOT know how to, he just put little scribbles. The poly guy Jordan is the only reason I didn't rate 1 star!! He knows his stuff, he's a professor at WCC. Most poly artist don't know they are giving males female tats and vise versa. Read Less
