Went in, spur-of-the-moment decision, with a pretty basic idea and Uncle Fred (with some additional help from Kekoa) was able to ink us (all 3) with a beautiful Pueo.....5 days later, went back for some additional inking and I'm, WE, are ALL over-the-moon pleased with his work. Had my rook pierced here 2 months ago. The guy who did it incorrectly used a 6 mm length piece (when he should have used a 10 mm). The skin grew over because it was much too small for the piercing to heal correctly. I had to get surgery to rescue the piercing. The guy who fixed was SHOCKED to see the kind of type of jewelry he used. Said he had never seen that in his 13 years in piercing. I would have expected a piercing studio to know better than to give such a blatantly incorrect size to a customer. Read Less

Came into today to get tattoos for both my mother and me. Had appointments and everything went really smooth. Owner, Kevin, did our tattoos. They came out exactly how we wanted and Kevin was super friendly and helpful with advice on sizing and pisitioning our designs. Shop was small but very tidy. Had a coverup done here and it came out awesome. Clean shop with a relaxed atmosphere. My artist Kimo was great to work with on picking the perfect design for my coverup. I got tattooed by Kevin Read several times over the years; both at Sacred Art Tattoo in Waikiki and Loyalty Tattoo in Kailua. I Highly recommend getting tattooed by him. He is very professional and personable, which makes my tattoo experience that much better. I constantly hear people talking about tattoos hurting a lot and was scared to do a large side tattoo on my ribs, but Kevin did a great job at doing such a large piece as quick and painless as possible, while still making it look amazing. Pros-LYDIA DOES GREAT WORK!!!!!!! Tattoo came out REAAAALLY good. Shop was smaller, but clean and tidy!Cons- Their attitudes sucked! They give off a "look at this idiot coming to get tattooed" vibe, like im unworthy of getting tattooed . It was totally un cool and sucky and unwelcoming. try SMILING and being nice :) !!!!  got no "hello" or "how can i help you". Just rude looks. If everyone acted a little more professional and nice, this would totally be a 5 star review! But i felt completly unwlcomed, and will be taking my money somewhere else next time. Read Less

Loyalty tattoo is great. Since I moved here from San Jose, CA, I haven't been able to find a shop nearly as good as this. The artists put out great work and it's a really clean shop compared to a lot of places out here.I got a piece done by Lydia, and I am going back for another by her this month. She's very friendly and personable, on top of being really talented. I was and still am impressed with loyalty's service! A clean and organized atmosphere instills a sence of quality that is a must for tattoo shops. My artist of choice is Lydia. Her work is crisp and original, but most importantly she's personable! Ive received 9 tattoos from her so far and trust me there is a reason i keep going back. I went to loyalty tattoo for my first tattoo and been going ever since!  I recently went there and had Lydia do two tattoos on my arm they are amazing. My husband had an ugly scar/blotched "motivational" tattoo from his younger days that he was meaning to cover up, so we went to the shop. I got a tattoo here by paul, he was an awesome guy, also told me to come back for touch ups whenever and that he would do my other one for free at that same time. I went back and had him touch it up but the shop was getting kinda busy so I didnt remind him of the other one. i felt bad for not making an appointment and didnt want to make him lose money on other ppl that would be paying more.but he was totally cool about it all.I gave him $20 tip and a redbull from store he asked for since i was going there anyway to get money out ..
