This is a great place to get some ink. All of the guys there are very friendly and accommodating. They are willing to listen and work with you on your design. Rob did my tattoo and did a great job. I came here to get a tattoo. I love the tattoo BUT they stole my credit card information and continuously charged my card increments of $200 every day until the card was maxed and I noticed. When the card was frozen, the card was recharged every day waiting for it to become unfrozen. My card was charged over $1,200 in fraudulent charges MANUALLY every day. My artist, great guy....... BUT the tattoo that I spent an insane amount of money on... looks like it's already aged 10 years. It's only been nine days mind you. The quality of color is bad, there was a lot of scarring due to his attempt to correct his over use of the blue color which resulted in scabbing and chunks of ink coming out of the skin. I will have to spend more money just to have it fixed in the very near future. Extremely disappointed and won't be back. Update: si...nce my experience back in April, the owner has been very cooperative and helped me find a solution to my problem. I was able to get my artist back home to figure out a way to fix my tattoo and the owner was more the gracious enough to give me back some of the money I spent on the tattoo originally to have it fixed. Overall, they handled the situation professionally and better than I expected. One bad situation doesn't ruin the reputation of the whole shop. My fiance and I walked in on our last night in Hawaii to get our first tattoos. James and Aka took amazing care of us. Not only did our tattoos come out incredible but the place was clean, sanitary and they made our experience an amazing one. Both were extremely personable and instantly put us as ease. We were walk ins so they gave us an estimated wait time (which was right on the money) and made sure both of our tattoos were done that evening. The prices were reasonable and the experience was A+. We have received many compliments about our tattoos (a shark and a turtle). Both came out absolutely incredible. They sit down with you, discuss what you want and what they can do for you. Every customer that walks in is treated kindly and professionally. I sat there for +6hrs and it always happened during that time. My tattoo artist was James and let me tell you this guy is not only an awesome artist, but also a great guy. Really passionate for his art. He drew my tattoo on the spot after discussing with me what I wanted. No rush. Wow, Aka is amazing and very talented! I received a beautiful piece from him on my vacation here in Oahu celebrating my 27th birthday! I was comfortable and made the session very relaxing until another coworker started Facebook LIVE while I was in the middle of my tattoo. I started to get extremely uneasy because not only was I laying on my side I had my leg visible as well. I was super upset and being the only female adult in the tattoo shop, I wasn't comfortable speaking up to them that I didn't want to be exposed on the camera. Jay was my artist and that guy was the easiest to work with from the minute I walked in to the time I left. Jay helped me come up with an original design and the perfect placement for the piece. My friend and I walked in to see if they had time to do 2 small tattoos. Mark was in the shop and had time to help is out.  After we showed him what we wanted, he took the time to ask us questions about more specifics.  Before taking us back, he cleaned all of his station and equipment. For mine, I showed him the picture of what I wanted and the size, and he was able to freehand draw the design on my ankle. After he drew it, he made sure I looked in the mirror and liked the placement and design. Prior to starting the tattoo, he showed me the needles and other containers that come sealed and sterilized with a good expiration date. The tattoo itself only took about 15 min which was nice. The end product lookalike awesome and I'm in love with the details in the palms. Definitely recommend this place. Read Less

I have had "get a tattoo" on my bucket list for a long time and I'm glad I was able to finally get it at Victorian Tattoo.  Mark was a little cold at first, but warmed up pretty quickly and by the end of my time we were joking around.  My tattoo was simple- just a little star on my foot, so I really can't speak to their ability as artists (but check out their pictures- some pretty cool stuff).  I don't really know how the design could have been messed up and I'm pretty laid back about it.  However, Mark continued to ask questions until HE felt comfortable that he knew what I wanted (size? thickness of the line? perfect star or a little off?) and that I knew what I wanted.  I thought this was very caring and kind.Even more importantly than the design- I do know that the process was clear, the place was clean, and I felt comfortable the whole time.  Mark opened the ink and needle in front of me and cleaned the whole chair and my foot before we started.  Another employee was joking around with me as we discussed the food truck festival down the street and our hometowns.  Five minutes later, I was cleaned up, wrapped up, and on my way out the door.They were a little light on the after care directions, but I did get some antibacterial soap and tattoo goo.  I was also told with full disclosure that cetaphil lotion and regular soap and water would have probably worked just fine, but I was glad to be offered some better products and took him up on the offer- just in case.  My little star is looking great about a month later and I am so happy with it.  I would recommend Victorian Tattoo. Pretty solid place to get a tattoo I received and demon breaking out of my skin from Jay and it turned out bad ass! He was really easy to work with they are all pretty easy going guys and seemed to be very skilled looking through all there portfolio. I'm not exactly sure on whether or not they are fairly price due to the fact it's the first tattoo on island but I paid 700 for a pretty detailed chest piece so I'll let you decide on that. I was vacationing here from Georgia with my sisters and we wanted to do something to  remember our wonderful vacation in Waikiki. So we decided on getting tattoos.  I was nervous because this was my first tattoo and I wanted to make sure I had a good experience. I went on the internet and searched for tattoo shops near my hotel. I am so glad that I did because I almost picked a shop with horrible customer service, but instead I listened to the good reviews for Victorian Tattoo. Me and my sister's received an awesome original tattoo drawn by Anthony. He was great!!! He is a very talented and knowledgeable artist.
