This place is HAMMAH ! To start this review off I wanted to state that I have a few tattoos that was done by friends who aren't professionals when I was young and dumb. So since this was my first time getting a professionally done tattoo I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect. I scheduled an appointment with Popes through Instagram and he replied really fast. when I first walked in, the shop was super nice and very clean. Popes took his time drawing out my tattoo on my back, made sure I liked it and proceeded to start the tattoo. It got done sooooo fast and he was very funny to talk to so it made the experience so much better. He also checked on me through out the session to ask if I was alright and stuff which was really nice and we had a few breaks which was needed! . The tattoo came out AMAZING ! I wanted to get a tattoo that I have had my eye on while visiting Oahu and lucky for me, I stumbled upon Haps. Dino was attentive and happily kept changing the design as I thought about what exactly I wanted. This is James. I know the name says Linda but using my wife's account. My family and I were visiting Hawaii and my son wanted to get his first tattoo. After researching a few places we were referred to Hapsflow by another person. They were one of the few open on a Sunday. Spoke to Ray and she scheduled us both for half sleeves the next day. We show up on Monday and Ray came in on her day off to work on my son. Ariel did mine which was almost a half sleeve but mainly a cover up of an old tattoo I never really liked for personal reasons. Not only we're both of them great but they both made my son feel comfortable about his first time. Both did an awesome job. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I love it. Arman, my tattoo artist, did an awesome job and made sure I was good while he worked, as this was my first tattoo. My tattoo was fairly simple (Om sign), but I still felt like it went by quickly, and I love how it turned out. The vibe of the store was dope too, there were cool paintings and awesome reggae music playing. I got lucky enough to call in for an appointment and get the owner, Hap, himself.  The only reason I got Hap was because another of his appointments moved his time to accommodate me, which was extremely nice!  I have to tell you, if you are a tattoo enthusiast, then you know not to judge the artists by the look of their shop!!! Hapsflow is the same way...I was referred to Hap by TC who just happened to be working as a Fire-Knife dancer at the Aulani Ka Wa'a Luau, and Hap was able to accommodate me the day before I left Hawai'i for the mainland.  And I am so glad he was able to fit me in because THEY DO AMAZING WORK!  My tattoo came out better than I had hoped, and I am DEFINITELY getting more work from Hap, when they come to the Tattoo Convention in NYC!!! Had an amazing cover up done by the man himself. Vacationing in Hawaii and we decided to get a couple of pieces done on our last night on the island. Hap was all over it and banged out a sweet Greek Myth on my arm. My wife also decided on a nice little Poly piece done by Hellafresh on her sexy little foot.
